The Ultima and the Alpha

Chapter 5- PE

     I sprinted until I dropped my backpack off at the door and ran into the gym. Zayn got in the gym 3 seconds after me.

     " Ha I beat you" I said completely out of breath.
     "Yeah yeah whatever you started to run before me so it wasn't fair." His chin up high.

We went back outside of the gym to look at what to do for the quick activity and just saw walk and talk. We walked around the gym twice before more people started to come in.

"If you're the Alpha why aren't you with the popular group?" I asked.
"Well one I'm a first year alpha, and second I'm only alpha because my brother was alpha last year sooo yeah."
     "Oh..."

The teacher was walking in when the bell rung. He had a shiny blue whistle on a lanyard around his neck. He put the whistle in his mouth and blew. A loud whistle made everyone in the room stop in their tracks.

     "So I know it's yall's first day here but I'm gonna to show you what's going to happen everyday for the next 3 years you have me. Everyone run 3 laps around the gym then drop and give me 20."

     I started strong running completing 3 laps without slowing down. It was getting harder by the minute but then I tapped into my Ultima power a bit so I wasn't as tired. I finished strong and gave him 20 push-ups the sat on the line with Zayn who has been keeping up with me by using most of his alpha strength.

     "This will be a nightmare." I whispered
     "We seriously got to do this for three years?"
"Ughhhh..... I wanna quit gymmmm." I wined
He laughed and said "that's not how it works, though honestly I feel the same way."

Phwwwwwwwwwwwhhhtt

As soon as we heard the whistle we knew he was going to talk.
"Guys today we'll be playing dodgeball now the rules are simple........."
I zoned out while he was talking about the rules because I already know how to play dodgeball. Like who doesn't it says it in the name dodge-ball dodge the balls.

                      Literally 3 seconds later

     When we started playing I noticed it was wayyy different from normal dodgeball and that I should have payed more attention to the rules so I knew how to play.

"Why are people playing like this?" I asked
Zayn sighed and said "You didn't listen to all of the rules did you."
"Ummmm of course I did.... Yea no I didn't can you pleeeeeeeeaaaseeee tell me."
     " Fine so basically, it's like regular dodgeball but if you get hit freeze and if your teammate tags you, you can continue playing. Got it?"
     "Yeah thanks"

     We played dodgeball for the rest of the class. Then headed to our other classes which we didn't have together so it was pretty boring. We agreed that since we both walk home we'll walk together to one's house then the others and alternate everyday. This only works because we live like a block away from each other.
