"Mama are you coming to my game later?" I asked my mom for the 10th time this week.
"Baby you know I wouldn't miss it for the world" she smiled.
I smiled back and headed into Spazz's room.
"Spazz?"
"Yeah?"
"Did you vote for me for homecoming Queen ?"
"You know you could only vote one time right?" We both laughed.
"I'm sorry"
"It's ight, you good. I got you sis"
So today was going to be a super fun day, it was homecoming week.
Today was the game and our dance.
Our school was top rated in academics and athletes , so it wasn't a doubt in my mind that we were going to win today.

We got to school and everybody was talking about the dance or the game.
"Jahnai who you going to the dance with?" Jazz asked as we walked throughout the hallway.
"Honestly nobody, you know I really cared less about a nigga for real" I spat.
Jazz just shook her head.
"Girl we need to get you laid"
"No thank you, I went 17 years without it. I'll be just fine"
"Girl uh uh ima loosing you up today."
"That's what you and I cheer for. To loosen up bestie" I added.
"Girl please, I joined that so atleast something good could be on my transcript" she said as we both laughed.
"I'll see you in a minute okay? Love you" Jazz said as we seperated.

"I just pulled up, I'm getting out the Lyft now"

So I skipped school today to hook up with Raheem .
It wasn't his homeboy like I wished but I heard he was much better.
I know Jahnai would be so hurt about this but what she didn't know wouldn't hurt her.
Raheem let me in and I followed him to his bedroom.
"Your mom isn't home right?"
"Girl naw , she get off at 5 o clock"
