"Eat Jahnai"

I was currently at home trying to eat something light until tonight.

Prom was in 1 hour and everything on me was done.

I just needed to put on my dress and then everything would be complete.

Just in a few minutes, I would stepped outside to dance and have fun during my prom send off .

I ate my last drop of cereal and then I went to my bedroom to put my dress up.

Once I stepped into my dress , I looked into the mirror and damn near cried.

"You look beautiful" I could imagine Daddy saying.

I smiled, went down the stairs and waited for my song to play.

I was coming out to Bussing by Nicki and honestly it was a good choice for such an icon like myself.

Once the beat drop , I left my house and everybody started cheering when I came out.

I took hella pictures.

Then my date gave me a smile.

"You ready to go?"

"Yup"

So my brother was actually taking me on prom.

I know it may sound crazy but Dayvon did ask me and I respectfully declined.

I didn't know where we stood after that night.

He would try to talk to me but I didn't respond, he simply could have put my life in danger.

That's not cool at all.

Anyways, we get inside of our rented Lambo and our mom gets us a driver who drives us to the prom.

It would be downtown at a fancy hotel, and too be honest I loved that.

"U think I'm gonna win prom queen Spazz?"

"Shidd you better, you the most popular girl in the 12th grade. Who better than my sis ?"

I loved my brother so much, despite the ups and downs.. he was really my person.

We arrived to the prom and took pictures with damn near everybody.

So many of my classmates was glad to see me.

I'm gonna miss them.

Graduation was the following week and I couldn't wait to slap my mama across the head with my diploma.

Cause that lady been drilling that in my head since I could even remember.

It's like she knew I was gonna graduate, she just wanted to make sure I kept my focus.

Anyways, we were having fun at the prom.

I scrolled thru my IG post trying to rely to everyone as my posts were flooded with some many positive comments and I was getting sooo many likes.
