Chapter 3

It was an awesome start to the season. Y/n L/n was glistening at every game and she also had the best g/a ratio in the whole league. She was unstoppable.

She and Lucy were flirting with one another but somehow Y/n was still thinking about Alessia. She would stalk her on social media and see how happy she was. Y/n was also happy, I mean the season she is having she should be thrilled, but still there is a feeling of emptiness following her every where she goes.
She never knew she could miss somebody so much.

Seeing Alessia on social media with her new best friend Ella Toone made Y/n feel something that she's never felt in a friendship. She was developing some kind of a crush on Alessia without even realizing it.

Y/n was just hanging with her team while the groups for the Champions League were announced. She saw that Barcelona was in a group with Arsenal. She immediately thought of Alessia. Her heart jumped at the thought of seeing her again but also dropped as they weren't talking anymore. Since Alessia was best friends with Tooney now, Y/n came up with a plan to be some sort of best friends with Lucy Bronze to make Alessia jealous.

Y/n: Hey Lucy I saw the way you look at me and I was just wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime, as a friend yk.

Lucy: (Lucy begins stuttering as she's talking to Y/n) Yeaaaah sure why don't you come by my house today and we'll just have a movie night of some sort.

Y/n: Just text me the address and I'll be there.

...

Y/n then comes to Lucy's house but notices that she's talking on the phone with someone.
She knocked on the door and Lucy opens it for her, while still being on FaceTime with a certain person. Only to realise that, that person was Alessia. She immediately recognised that voice.

Lucy: Hey Y/n glad you came. Do you wanna say hello to your former teammate, we were just talking about our next England camp.

Lucy then turned the phone to Y/n only to which Alessia immediately hung up the phone as soon as she saw here.

Lucy: Oi what was that? Do you have some unresolved issues with her or what?

Y/n: No were fine, I talk to Alessia every day there was probably just an issue with the connection.

Lucy: Well alright, although you are a bit suspicious. Come sit on the couch now I've ordered some pizza. Why don't you choose a movie while your there, I'm going to go pick up the pizza.

Y/n: Alright just tell me a genre.

Lucy: Let's watch some romance.
