THIS WHOLE CHAPTER IS A FLASHBACK BTW
After Micah and Ava finished their world geo project, which they got an A on by the way, it was Christmas time. Ava's favorite time of year. She loved everything about Christmas: the lights, decorations, presents, and everything else that comes with it. Since Ava likes Christmas so much, when Micah heard that the Elf on the Shelf movie was being played at the park for anyone who wanted to come watch, he immediately called the girl.
"Hey, Ava, I saw this thing online about the Elf on the Shelf movie being played at the park tonight-" Micah said but was cut off by Ava.
"Yes, I wanna come, what time?" Ava replied quickly and full of excitement.
"Okay," He laughed at her excitement, "It's at 7, I'll pick you up at 6:30."
"Yes, yes, yes, I'm so excited, I'll be ready like 3 hours before you come, I'm so excited," Ava said as she began to pick out her outfit.
"Alright, I'll see you then," Micah said with a smile on his face. He loved making her happy.
"Okay, bye Micah," Ava said, still full of excitement.
"Bye, Ava," Micah said as she hung up the phone. He set his phone down but before he could do anything else, he realized that Elijah and Josiah were in the room and they were staring at him like they were up to something.
"What do you want?" Micah asked, annoyed. None of them answered. They just kept staring at him in that same way. "You wanna come, don't you," Micah asked.
"Yes, yes, I'm so excited," Elijah said as he ran out of the room.
"I love the Elf of the Shelf movie," Josiah said as he also left the room. Now, Micah had to pick up his phone again to call Ava to make sure that she was okay with his annoying brothers tagging along.

Ava squealed as she received a text from Micah saying that he was here.
She grabbed her stuff and literally sprinted out of the door to Micah's car. He got out as she ran up to him to give him a big hug. After the hug, she started jumping up and down saying how excited she was. Micah calmed her down and led her to the front seat and opened the door for her, which he usually didn't do but Ava was too excited to notice. Micah went around and got in the driver's seat before remembering who was in the back seat.
"Oh Ava, This is Elijah and Josiah," Micah said as he pointed to each of them.
"Oh, nice to meet you," She said ecstatically because she was so excited. She noticed that they had the same expression as she did. "Are y'all as excited as I am?" She asked.
"YES!!" They screamed with excitement. Ava then had a really good idea as she turned to the front of the car and subtly plugged her phone into the aux. Extravagazalorious, from the Elf on the Shelf movie, began to play. Micah looked at Ava and his brothers with excitement.
"Is that extravaganzalorious?" Josiah asked even though he already knew the answer.
"Sure is," Ava said happily.
"No way," Elijah said right before the four of them broke out in song.
"Extravganzalorious, tells you what's inside of us,
It's super high, it's the biggest rush,
extravaganzalorious,
"I'm speaking for the four of us," The group laughed as they realized that there were 4 of them in the car but continued to sing.
We're full of smiles, we're full of joy and cheer,
This Christmas time has been the best in years,
The feelings got us in a festive swing,
We'll dance, we'll sing, we'll shake those bells and jingaling," The four screamed. The group jammed out to that same song over and over all the way to the Plaza.

The four teens were sitting down on a blanket in the order: Elijah, Josiah, Ava, and Micah. But all of them sprung up when extravaganzalorious began to play on the big screen. They started to dance with each other. But when the part where one of the elves flip another elf, Micah and Ava attempt to do it but it just ends with Ava on the ground laughing and the rest of the group laughing too.
After the movie, Micah drops off his brothers at his house, because the original plan was for Micah to spend the night at Ava's. Once they got to Ava's, they went straight to Ava's room.
"I'm so exhausted," Ava said as she opened her drawers pulling clothes out.
"Me too," Micah said as he plopped on her bed.
"Micah get off of my bed," The girl screamed once she realized what he was doing.
"Okay, jeez, sorry," Micah said as he sat in her chair instead.
"Okay, I'm going shower, you can hang in here if you want or do whatever, I don't really care," She said before she walked into the bathroom and locked the door. Micah began to explore her room even though he's been in there multiple times, he never got to really look at it. He loved how much it fit her personality: the pictures on her walls, the pink all around, the gold accents placed nearly everywhere. He loved everything about it. He was looking around at the pictures of her and her friends and came across one of Ava and himself. It was of them holding up their world geography project. She was smiling big and he was also smiling big because that was the day that he realized that he liked her.

After Ava showered, Micah went shortly after and now they were sitting on Ava's bed.
"Oh my God, Micah, I have the best idea," Ava said as she got up from her bed.
"What is it?" Micah asked curiously.
"Let's make a fort to sleep in," She said happily as she began to grab pillows and blankets. Micah got up and began to help the girl. Once they were finished, the duo layed down inside of the fort.
"Today was really fun Micah," Ava said as she yawned.
"I'm glad you liked it," Micah said as he gave her a small smile.
"Yeah, I'm glad I met your brothers too, they might even be better than you," She said as she turned over and fell asleep. Micah sighed once he knew that she was asleep, and he put his arm around her and slowly fell asleep too.
