*Pye's POV*
I was busy singing my heart out when I heard rustles. Frowning, I put away my earphones and looked around.
What can I do? My senses are strong.
The garden was filled with silence and I'm the only one there I guess. I just hope no one heard me, it's embarrassing.
I sighed then jumped slight when I heard someone calling me. "PYE!!!"
"Jen thank goodness you're better now." She hugged me tight and I chuckled. "I miss you Pye!" She shouted.
"Whoa! Am I the one who got sick here? Ok, note the sarcasm." I said, embracing her and pulling out of the hug after.
She craned her neck as if thinking about something. Well, she often forgot things easily. "What?" I asked.
"Uhmmm... I think the principal just called for you. I mean for all the honoured students." She narrowed her eyes and bit her lips. "And I guess you're the only one they're waiting for." And she pointed the way to the principal's office.
"Huh? Why?" As far as I remember, I do my best and my grades are not failing. "Do I look like I know? Am I the one being called? Aish! Just go." She pouted and pushed me towards the office.
"Fine. I'll go now so stop pushing." I assured her, making her stop at pushing me.
---
I sat at the side of the room. All the other students sat anywhere available. The principal stood there at the middle chair in front of the huge window, back facing us.
He turned around, a smile plastered on his face.
I noticed some honoured students giggled but didn't make it too loud for the others to hear. Oh yeah, I admit that our principal is handsome, good-looking for his age. He's smart and rich but he's not my type. Even if he's not the principal, he won't be.
Such a waste, he doesn't have a girlfriend yet. I remembered when he visit our room and some of my girl classmates asked if he had been in a relationship before and he answered a 'no', a straight no.
"Let's get this over already. I asked for all of you because I got a task for everyone here." He beamed a smile. "And all of you should get this done." He added.
"What could be that task Mr. Jung?" Michelle, the flirty top 2 student, asked.
I can't even believe that she has brains. At first, everyone thought it's because of her money but she proved it. Really, she's almost perfect, almost. She has the face, the brain, but the attitude? Nope.
"Did I give the permission for asking?" Mr. Jung asked.
That's the reason why he's not my type.
Some of my schoolmates laughed but turned silent again when Mr. Jung glared at them.
She apologized and crossed her arms, shooting daggers at everyone who laughed at her. Tch.
"So as I was saying, I have a task for everyone here. And I want everyone in pairs. But no worries, you won't be bored. Everyone can add one friend along. In short, four persons per group." He proudly announced.
What kind of decision is that and who's idea is this anyway?
"Now, about the task, you'll have to attend another university by pairs plus the additional two tagged friends of yours. And I've already decided the pairs and the school you're assigned to go to." He ended with a satisfied look.
