*Pye's POV*

Hearing someone care for me like this made something in me feel safe and happy.

Sure, this is just fake but argh! I'm so stupid, I shouldn't feel like this. This is not right.

I quickly pushed Kai back, gentle as to not let him realized that I'm uncomfortable.

I laughed, trying to removed the nervousness I'm feeling but failed. He frowned at me.

"What is wrong? Why are you in here?" He demanded an answer and thankfully the doctor came at my rescue.

"Excuse me, is he the father?"

We both looked at the doctor with goggled eyes. I didn't see that coming.

"What are you talking about?" Kai asked, confusion evident in his eyes.

"Are you the father of the child?" The doctor repeated then looked at me while raising his eyebrow.

Just then I think I heard someone yelling. I turned around to see normal people walking inside the hospital. I think I heard a familiar voice but I guess I just heard it wrong.

Shrugging the thought off of my mind, I looked at Kai who was looking at me with utter confusion. "What? Father? Are you perhaps pregnant with...my child?" He asked.

The next thing I knew, I was laughing my heart out and hitting his shoulder playfully.

Is he nuts? Me? Pregnant? With his baby? Oh. My. God. That's hilarious.

I was still occupied with the joke he had just asked but felt awkward when I realised that I was the only one laughing.

Gulping from embarrassment when Kai stared at me, I vigilantly fixed myself then turned to face them.

"I'm sorry." I muttered. "Okay." I calmed myself first before breathing air deeply to prevent myself from laughing again.

But seriously? Did he really expect me to be in bed with him before he lost his memories? Do I look like I'm that easy? Aish! I better clarify and testify for my virginity.

"I'm not. And doc, he's not the father. He's my classmat-uh no-friend, I mean boyfri-"

"Husband. And she's my wife." Kai said, moving me near his side. The doctor nodded. "Why are you here?" He asked as he turned his attention back on me.

"Oh. I just helped someone." I looked at the doctor and he offered me a smile which I gladly returned back.

He slowly gestured for me to follow him and so I did, a carefree smile invading his stressful look. We went inside a room with Kai following behind us. The doctor handed me a plastic-like paper and pointed at the dot shape in the middle.

I frowned. "That's the baby. Safe and sound thanks to you. If you hadn't help her to get here as soon as possible, the soon to be baby could have died, even the mother." He patted my head.

The mother was still unconscious so we decided to leave.

When we arrived at the parking lot, I gawked as I saw him going near a big bike instead of a car.

I snapped back to reality when he turned back and motioned for me to go to him. "What? I'm gonna send you home. Am I not allowed?"

I looked at him with awe. He doesn't even know me yet, he was just hanging on the act that he's believing wherein I'm his wife. And he's doing this things to me.

Worrying for my health earlier and sending me home. I felt so bad for lying just for the money. I don't deserve these.

Before I could even react, he pulled me outside the parking lot, leaving me with a confuse look.
