Y/N's POV

As he shows me his drawings while he's sitting next to me on the bench, I can feel myself blush more, and smile lightly. I absolutely love nerdy people, hearing people ramble about their interests brings me so much joy to know that one thing can bring people that much happiness.

I listen to him talk about his drawings for a while, with a dumb smile on my face.
"Oh, where are my manners? I forgot to ask your name! Mine is Gerard, and yours is?" He asks while looking at me and puts out his hand for me to shake. I look at him and smile while shaking his hand and replying "Y/N! And I love that name!" I notice his eyes. They were like big black orbs of beauty, with the light bouncing off of them, causing little white bubbles to form on the side of them. Kinda reminding me of Mantis from "Guardians Of The Galaxy." I look away and realize I've been staring.
"I notice you've been staring at my eyes for a while." He says while giggling lightly. I giggle back and reply
"Yeah, sorry about that, I do really like them though, they shine really well in this lighting."
He seems taken aback slightly, seemingly not expecting that.

"Wow, thank you. I'm not used to getting compliments, so it's nice."
He replies lightly looking down. As he bows his head lightly, I notice two small antennas sticking out of his red hair, with small balls on the top of each one.
"You're welcome! And may I ask about your antennas or your race? I assume you're an alien, no offense." I say while smiling lightly.

He giggles and says "Yes I am an alien, and yes I have antennas. I should probably grow my hair out so it covers them huh? And don't worry, I don't get offended easily." I looked back at him slightly confused.
"Cover them? Oh no, they're very cute! I love them, you should too! Be proud of your race!"
I smile softly at him. His face goes red and hides his face with his hands. "Thank you..." he mutters. I giggle at his response.
He sits back up and faces me while smiling.
"Hey, I know this is probably awkward, but would you like to get dinner sometime? Or maybe some coffee?"

I'm taken aback by his response. "As... as in on a date?" I say softly while blushing madly.
"Y-Yes, as in on a date." He smiles lightly while anticipating my response. I smile back at him as I respond. "I would love to, Gerard." He seems very happy with my response. "It's a date then." He says with a big goofy grin on his face. I write down my number for him and hand it to him. "Tomorrow at 6 P.M sound good? We can meet up back at this park." He questions. "Sounds Perfect!" I reply smiling.

He nods and starts to get up from the bench, brushing my hand against his subtly. I blush lightly at the touch, and start to gather my things as well since it was getting late. I walk the opposite way to the apartment, while he walks to the hotels, which makes me frown slightly, thinking he's probably just visiting. Never the matter, I continue to walk to my apartment.
