———————————————————————————
Sanemi and Giyuu were heading back from a joint mission in the mountains when suddenly, it began to snow. And I mean it began to snow hard. So, the two decided to take refuge in a nearby cave. The cave was small, didn't seem to be home to any dangerous animals, and had small leaves and sticks laying around that could be used to kindle a fire. The two pillars sat across from each other, leaning against the walls of the cave and not talking. The two didn't like each other actually, or at least Sanemi didn't like Giyuu. Giyuu was more of a loner, which bothered Sanemi to no end. After sitting there for a while, Giyuu was visibly shaky. "Hey...you need to start a fire in here or something?" Sanemi asked before quickly turning his head away as if he was thinking "why do I care all of the sudden?". Giyuu simply looked at Sanemi, and said "That would be nice..." "Okay then, can you hand me some leaves and put them in a pile right here? I'll rub some sticks together and see if I can make a spark." Sanemi said before grabbing some sticks from off the ground. After a while, Sanemi was able to make a fire with the sticks and leaves Giyuu had collected. "Thank you..."Giyuu Said, a light pink dusting his cheeks and his nose a little red. "No problem...now shut up." Sanemi said, blushing from embarrassment a little. As they sat there, Giyuu sniffled every once and a while and held his knees up to his chest. Sanemi looked at him after a while of this, and noticed Giyuus red nose and pink cheeks. "Hey...are you sick? Your nose is red." Sanemi asked, trying not to show the worry he felt in his voice. "I might be...I'm just really cold..." Giyuu simply replied, resting his face down on his knees. Sanemi clearly was hesitant about something that Giyuu couldn't place. After a couple seconds, Sanemi spoke. "...come over here." Sanemi stated. Giyuu looked up and sniffled. "What...?" He asked. Sanemi looked Away and crossed his arms. "Come over here before I change my mind." Sanemi stated once again. Giyuu, slighting confused but curious crawled over to Sanemis side and sat in front of him. "I'm here...what did you want?" Giyuu asked, wiping his hand across his nose. Sanemi only sighed, turned Giyuu around, and sat him in between his legs on the ground. Giyuu had a visible expression of surprise on his face. "Shinazugawa...what is the meaning of this?" He asked, blushing from Sanemis sudden action. "Jesus...just sit still. I'm trying to warm you up with my body heat." Sanemi replied, scoffing as he wrapped his arms around Giyuu and held him close to his body. Giyuu accepted Sanemis warm embrace, and got comfortable in his arms. After a while, only Giyuus soft breaths could be heard, as he had fallen asleep. Sanemi, feeling tired as well, turned Giyuu around, rested Giyuus head on his shoulder, hugged him tight again, and fell asleep with his face in the crook of his neck. As the fire died, so did the barrier between the pair, and the sky slowly transformed from a snowy disaster to a clear blue.
