Me, Quinn and Jack had decided to go get ice cream before we left for the resort tomorrow, we used to go to this place all the time growing up. It was our absolute favorite.
"You excited for tomorrow Roni?" Quinn asked me breaking the silence.
"Oh yeah. I haven't been skiing or snowboarding since I left Michigan."
I answered him truthfully, I really haven't. Some of my friends from New York asked me to go with them a few times but, I just never had the time to.
"Really? Are the slopes not as good in Syracuse?" Jack asked.
"I mean they seem great! It's just not going to be as fun without you guys."
"Well then, next time I play the rangers I'll have to take a detour on the way back and we can test them out together."
Quinn said smiling at me, god I've missed that smile. It's one a lot of fans would be shocked to know he has. It's not awkward or goofy.
It's a calm, relaxed smile. It suits Quinn perfectly.
"Yeah I'd like that a lot, you never come visit me hot shot." I joke with him.
"Well I know your busy with school! I don't want you to feel overwhelmed and stressed" he says, starting to ramble.
I just smile at him, he's always been this sweet. He's a caring guy truly. Any girl would be lucky to have him.
We walk into the little ice cream shop the looked and smelled like my childhood. We all ordered our ice cream when Quinn and Jack argued over who was paying.
I smiled slipping the poor cashier my card and she smiled, then the two Hughes brothers looked at me.
"Sneaky little bitch" Jack laughed out and turned to the cashier and gave her a tip, which I had already done but he "needed" to one up me.
I smiled noticing the cashier and Jack start just smiling and starting to introduce themselves to each other. Ohhhhh!
I smiled softly grabbing Quinn's arm and dragging him to a table in the back leaving the two alone for a moment.
"So you saw that too?" Quinn asked me, an eyebrow raised.
"Big time." I smiled at him "just let him have this Quinny."
