Leah's Pov :

"You met that security guard?" Elena asks and I give a nod while focusing on my breakfast .

I met Xavier last night at the 'Summer ball' , the same personal security guard my father used to have as far as i remember 12 years back . I dug out all his information from the social media .

Profession: Vice president of Layla jewels and a board member
Status: Divorced
Kids: one girl one boy
Address: mansion in upper east side, Manhattan
Addiction: likes smoking

It was too easy for me to extract all his information when he literally has no security over his social media . He even kept "Xavierlayla" for his twitter account password for God's sake . What a waste for my hacking skills...

I got my uncle to give me the invitation to the Summer Ball held by Caroelle jewels as soon as i heard that Xavier was attending it . He always got an invite to such things .

All the people attending the party were big shots in the industry but it was a surprise that Xavier was attending it when he rarely shows up in public.

Elena asked, "Did you find anything useful?" I replied, "Not much...I just found out that he has a close relation with Asher," while drinking my coffee.

She crooks her brow " Ceo of Crimson " she confirms and i give a smirk confirming her doubt .

Crimson is a strong security company that's a major player in the market. It's considered one of the top leaders, thanks to its CEO, Asher, he is hailed as a computer genius

A sudden knock on the door brings me back to reality... "I will go " I say and slowly walk towards the door . I push the door open and see a lean and masculine figure standing on the door with his cool face " when did you learn to knock" I ask him .
" I am being polite, okay .You know nothing " Alec replies , annoyed by my sarcasm . " He walks inside the house with a bag full of snacks in his huge arms ..

Alec greets Elena with a charming smile and a wink before getting comfortable on the couch. The soft cushions sink beneath his weight as he makes himself at home. 'Hey sis , how are you doing?'

Elena gets up from her chair and walks to the couch with a grumpy face and replies " Better than you" and sits next to her brother still wearing a scowl

Uh typical siblings..I sigh and think to myself before going to the kitchen to wash the dishes

"'Did you find something?' I ask Alec, folding my arms and leaning on the pool table beside the couch. Alec turns towards me, a bag of potato chips in his hands. He examines me with his cool face before saying,

"Xavier has a meeting with Asher in the Campbell Apartment tonight at 9."

I furrow my brows, intrigued by this new piece of information. 'What could they be meeting about?' I wonder aloud.

Alec shrugs, popping a chip into his mouth. 'Who knows? But I have a feeling it's going to be big,' he replies,

Hmm.. Campbell Apartment seems like a place no one can suspect for having underground meetings . Seems like Xavier got some brains

"Do you plan on going?" Alec asks, still focusing on the TV. I nod in response. "What do you think? It's been a while since I had my fun," I reply with a smirk growing on my face. I can sense Alec's excitement building,

Then I see Elena staring at me with her playful smile ..."Oops looks like someone has got a bad luck tonight"
