"It's too easy" Harry and I said at the same time. "There is no way we just have to find the key" Harry continued. "There has to be a catch" I said.
We were trying to stop professor Snape from stealing the philosophers stone. There was a huge dog that we had to pass, he was knocked out by music most of the time though. We were in a room with flying keys and one of them fit into the door hole. We knew which one it was, it was just too easy.
"Well, I'll see if it's a trap when I get up there." I said as I went to the broom. Harry wanted to protest but he knew that I had better moving skills than him on a broom, we both made the team but I was better at moving and tricks than him. So if anyone had a chance with anything up there, it's me.
I grabbed the broom and them I saw all the keys stop and then they started following me, I mounted the broom and tried getting the key we needed. I was flipping and twisting and turning but the flying keys were fast. I finally got the key and threw it to Hermione who caught it and opened the door.
The keys continued following me until I zoomed through the door and Hermione and Harry were able to shut it, locking the keys outside (see what I did there??)
We walked into a giant chess board and started to play. We then realized it was wizards chess. "No!" I yelled as soon as I realized. "I stink at wizard's chess!" "No your don't!" Hermione yelled at me. "No Hermione, Cass is right. She STINKS at wizard's chess." Harry said walking over to us.
I elbowed his stomach and he immediately apologized. I laughed quitely. "I have an idea, I think we have to play as the empty spaces." Ron said. "Well no duh Sherlock!" I said. "Whose better at wizard's chess?" I asked Harry and Ron.
"Ron, for sure." Harry said. "Ok then it's settled, Ron you do the game play. Everyone else listen to Ron." I demanded. Ron started playing the game, telling us all where to go. "You don't suppose this is like real wizard's chess do you?" Hermione asked cautiously.
Ron told a peice to move and it was smashed to bits, like wizard's chess. "Yes Hermione, I do think it will be exactly like real wizard's chess." Ron responded, gulping. We continued playing until there was 2 options.
Either Ron will get hit, or Harry. Ron didn't even say anything but he made himself get hit and he went spiraling across the room. "Ron!" Hermione yelled about to step off her square to help Ron.
"No!" Harry and I yelled at the same time. "The game is still happening!" I said and Harry agreed. Harry got to the other side and he was able to kill the king. We won. Hermione ran to Ron while me to Harry.
"Go, I'll take care of Ron!" Hermione said as she shooed us off. Harry and I walked through the door on the other side of the board into a room, with mirror in it. "The mirror of erised" harry said. I looked at him confused.
"It makes you see what you want the most in life." He explained. Just then we heard cackling in the corner of the room. We turned, expecting to see Snape, but instead we saw professor Quirrel.
He looked...evil. "finally, Harry Potter. And you brought a friend, Cassidy Black." He said as he walked towards us and stopped right in front of the mirror, which we were also in front of.
"Tell me, Harry, where is the philosophers stone?" He asked grimly "I don't know" Harry answer truthfully.
He lies
What? Who said that? "Tell me boy, where is it?" Harry said the truth again. "Harry what do you see in this mirror" the professor asked walking scarily close to me. I saw Harry stumble for a second but he regained his steadiness.
"Nothing, I see nothing" he said.
He lies
"Fine, you don't wish to tell me. I will make you" Quirrel said as he grabbed my arm. "Hey let go of me" I yelled trying, and failing, to get away. I saw Harry get tense. "Let her go!" He yelled.
