There were no more sessions at the studio until four this evening, so you decided to close the studio and walk to a nearby cafe for lunch.

The cafe you walked to was called Small Town Coffee. It was technically a coffee shop, but they had a good selection of lunches. This particular cafe was special to you and your husband, however.

Small Town Coffee was the place where Riki had his first part-time job. While you two dated, you would always go there and receive free food from him. His mother's ex-boyfriend had owned the cafe at that time, so there was no problem with you getting free food.

You ordered a croissant sandwich and sat outside at one of the tables. You were about to take the first bite when someone moved the chair and sat across from you. You placed your sandwich back on the plate and looked up.

The someone was a man, and you had to admit that he looked handsome. He had dark brown eyes and dirty blond hair. He was also wearing clothing that made him look professional."I'm sorry to bother ma'am, but are you Nishimura Y/n?" the man asked politely. "Yes sir, I am," you replied. "Great! I knew I had the right person!"

The man reached into his jacket pocket and took a business card, holding it out to you. You wiped your hands on your napkin and accepted the business card.

"My name is Park Sunghoon, and I'm an agent and scout for BE:LIFT Lab. I'm pretty sure you never heard of this company before." the man explained as you read the card. "No, I have, but very few times," you said. You felt like you'd heard it somewhere with Riki but couldn't remember.

"That's fine." Sunghoon chortled. "I heard about the person who owned Nishi Photography Studio, so I had to check it out myself. That's when I saw you Y/n, and I just knew you had to become a model."

"Wait, a model?" you questioned. "I don't know about that, Sunghoon. I prefer to be behind the camera than be in front of it. And when will I have time to do it? I'm busy with a small photography studio."

"The modeling sessions will adjust to your schedule, Y/n. Plus, the starting salary is fifty-four thousand won an hour."

"Fifty-four thousand won?" you exclaimed. "That can't be true."

"Oh, yes, it is. Trust my word for it. Models that work for BE:LIFT Lab earn that type of money, and you could become that next model."

You were starting to get convinced about this modeling, but something else bothered you. You frowned and asked, "Why do you want me to model? I'm sure there are better good-looking people out there."

"Because you fit what I'm looking for, Y/n: a plain and ordinary woman. That's the next group of people I'm scouting, after all." You felt offended when Sunghoon called you "ordinary," but you didn't say it out loud.

Sunghoon pointed at the number on the business card that was in your hand. "Please call my number when you've made your decision. I want to know as soon as possible."

Sunghoon's hand moved to your other hand, and he gave it a gentle squeeze. He looked you in the eye with a charming smile on his face. "Please consider this opportunity." What happened next surprised you.

Sunghoon lifted your hand to his lips and kissed it. He then placed your hand back onto the table and stood up. He waved goodbye and walked away.

"What the actual heck," you said as you heated up. You slapped your cheeks, hating how you easily got embarrassed, especially with a man who wasn't your husband.

You picked up the business card, which fell on your lap, and studied it again. You decided to research Park Sunghoon and his company when you get home.

You decided to ask Riki about it too.
