Two lines.

You couldn't believe it.

You had your eyes closed the whole time, afraid to see the results of the pregnancy test. When you opened them a minute later, your whole world crashed down.

Distraught. That's how you felt.

You walked out of the bathroom and sat on your bed. The test was still in your hand.

You wanted to call Jungwon or even Riki, but you knew they wouldn't answer your calls or texts. You betrayed their trust, after all.

Changing into your pajamas, you flopped onto the bed without pulling back the duvet. You eyed the positive pregnancy test sitting on the nightstand. Unconsciously, your hand went to your stomach, and your brain raced with questions.

Whose baby was it? Was it Sunghoon's, or was it Riki's?

You didn't know, not wanting to figure it out anytime soon.

Having no one else to turn to, you called the one person you knew that you shouldn't have called.

Forty minutes later, you were lying next to Sunghoon on his bed. He had you in his arms and leaned your head onto his shoulder. You were still too distraught to try and argue with him.

"So, I was right about the pregnancy, huh?" asked Sunghoon.

"Yes," you nodded somberly, looking up at Sunghoon. "I know that's important, but my husband is more important. He stormed out of the apartment last night because he saw the news."

"Oh, I'm so sorry. Hopefully, he'll come back soon."

Something in Sunghoon being nonchalant had annoyed you. You pushed him away and stood to your feet. "Why are you trying to act all sad? This is all your fault! I should have never gotten involved with you!"

Sunghoon turned to you, eyes growing dark. "Choose your words wisely, Nishimura Y/n," he warned in a low voice.

"No, you've ruined my life! And I'm angry, knowing that I'm possibly carrying your child and not my husband's!"

"What's wrong with that?"

You wanted to choke Sunghoon, but you kept your ground. Hot tears blinded your sight as you heard a deep chuckle.

"Y/n."

Sunghoon wiped your tears with his thumb. Then he gently held your chin, making you have eye contact with him.

"Do you truly think all of this is all my fault?"

"Yes, that's what I said."

"Riki was the one who told you to be weary around me. Riki was the one who wanted you to quit modeling so you couldn't be around me. Doesn't that seem selfish to you?"

"What are you trying to say?"

"Maybe if Riki hadn't interfered with your job, he would've still loved you."

"Are you crazy?" you slapped Sunghoon's hand away. "I'm the one at fault for this! I didn't listen to my husband and ended up here!"

Sunghoon shook his head. "Tsk, tsk, Y/n, I don't think you're listening to me. Riki was the one who got you into this mess, not you. His disagreements influenced your mind already."
