[after dinner]

"Marrow how old are you again?'' Todd asked "17. Turned it just a few months ago." "great. So can i ask you some pokemon questions?" Todd asked curiously, wanting to learn more about them before he goes on his journey tomorrow "I don't know how well I'd be able to answer them though." awesome thanks!" todd stops to think for a second. "Who would win. A Gardevoir or a Marshtomp?" todd asked "well that all depends what are their moves?" marrow asked "Gardevir has charm, Physic, and shadow ball. While Marshtomp has Mudshot, surf, and Mud Bomb. who would win?" "well uh that's a tough one-"
"Well hypothetically if Gardevoir and Marshtomp were to battle they both have a bit of a type advantage over each other so it would be a tough battle but overall Gardevoir would win by just a little bit. But not much. If and I mean IF Marshtomp plays his cards right Marshtomp may win. But probably gardevoir would win 90% of the time. But just a fyi Gardevoir needs special training to learn shadow ball. Same with Marshtomp and surf. But still hypothetically if they had those moves." Ember said. Everyone at the table looked at her funny. "What did I do?" Ember asked "ohhhhh i was thinking out loud." "you knew all that from the top of your head?!" marrow said with awe "where were you when i was in Galar?" Ember laughs a little,  "I mean I was still here." "that you were." he was still in disbelief that she knew that. Though it isn't that hard to believe that gardevoir won because it's an evolution higher then him and all that it's how fast she got it, especially with knowing the moves that needed special training with.

"I'm shocked you knew all that. I thought you hated pokemon." Hayden said. ”What? She doesn't hate pokemon, just battling them and other things. If you knew what happened I think you would feel the same." Marrow added. "no, as long as I can remember she's never been interested in them," Hayden added.
"You don't know her like I do." marrow said "well jokes on you all! When I grow up I'm going to be a pokemon master just like Ash Ketchum! I'll know more about pokemon than you know!" Todd said gloating "right…i'm going to my room, you coming Marrow?" "Sure thing Bub." he got up and they both went up to her room. "So what do you want to do? Bub" "first thing stop calling me Bub. Thanks next, do you want to help me get out of here?" she asked "what do you mean get out of here?" “leave this place and never come back. You see what i have to deal with it usually gets worse but you were here. You should have heard what she said at work today." Ember explained "yeah lets get you out of here." marrow said with a smirk. "Always getting into trouble just like old times" "yeah just like old times." marrow said looking at her who is now packing. "Alright done." she said putting on a cross body bag.

Soon after she grabbed her pokeballs and sat them in her bag nicely. She then snuck out the window down a tree and followed marrow to his house. When they got to his house it was around 9:29 "mom and mama im home and i brought a friend!" marrow hollered "welcome home marrow!" his mom said "oh hello ember how are things at the cafe?" Mama said "hello Lia (mom) and sara (Mama)" ember said softly "things at the cafe are fine, just quit though." "oh why's that?" Sara asked "oh im finally leaving on my journey so yeah i'm leaving tonight." ember said smiling a little "Oh running away, I see. You know I could help you get away and help change your appearance. So you just won't get found.'' Sera said, smiling a little. "And i could help too." indiana hollered in from the other room. "Indi’s home?" marrow asked "hell yeah i am" he said coming in and ruffling Marrows hair. "Hey stop!" marrow said laughing "fine, fine" Indi stopped "so you in ember?" Sara asked, "sure i guess." Ember replied "great. Let's go!" Sera said getting shoes on along with Indi and Lia

They took ember to a shop they run. It's a two in one shop that they both run. Sara owns a hair shop while Lia owns a clothing shop. “We want to make sure that you can travel safely around without being found by your family because it seems like you ran away." sera added. "You know me so well" Ember said "yeah well you have been hanging around marrow since you were like 5 so i sure hope we would know you well" Lia added to Saras thought "though why are you leaving without them knowing?" Marrow asked. Ember then sat down in a chair to start getting her hair done. "Because you saw how they treated me. I think I can actually do something in this world without them. Don't you?" she asked marrow "well i guess that's a point but still you should have at least left a note." "trust me i bet they won't even notice for at least a few days." Ember jokes "that's a fair point" marrow then chuckled for a moment "do your parents treat you right?" Lia asked "sometimes but not often, they for the most part just tell me how they wish i would have become a pokemon trainer and a pokemon master. Well I'm finally getting around to it right?" "yeah after 6 years" marrow joked again "yeah after 6 years. But I've always studied how pokemon work and all that." ember added. After too long they were finally done. She now has shorter blondish hair that has pink and some blue in it. Though her natural hair is brown so that will probably show later. She bought a leather jacket with some t-shirts, most of them were white, she also got ripped jeans to go with it all. To complete the look a belt for pokeballs. (i have a vision for this but it's hard to explain, its a normal belt but it sections off at the hip making kind of a chain sort of thing but out of fabric for pokeballs, just trust me, it's really hard to explain) "you look completely different i love it you absolut punk!" Marrow adored.
