Olora
I walked into my house, It was warm. The fire place was on, I walked over to the kitchen and the first thing I saw were Abby and Ben at the table eating food.
"Who was that boy?"
my mom asked me the first thing I walked in with a huge smile. After this, everyone noticed I was home
"That was Nick"
she jumped up out of her chair and came up to me pointing at me in a mocking way
"He likes you"
she poked me in the shoulder with a smile on her face
"No, no he doesn't"
my moms smile immediately faded
"why did I raise someone who is so oblivious"
she smiled at me
"I thought it was just me"
Ben said agreeing with my mom
"see it's not just me"
my mom squeezed my shoulders. Abby took another bite of her biscuit
"it's not like that anyway"
I tried to defend myself, but that just got Abby on her toes, she got up off her chair and walked over to where we were
"Admit it, he's cute"
she said recreating my moms mocking tone
"I will, when you admit that you like Rowan"
by saying this I don't even think that she would every admit to that,
"I think Rowan's cute"
she said plainly, with no struggle, and a huge smile after. My jaw was almost to the floor by now
"what?"
I asked her in pure shock
"your turn, admit Nick is cute"
She poked me again. I a don't want to admit that, but a deals a deal,
"I think Nick is cute"
I spoked hesitantly. An even bigger smile grew on her face
"I knew it"
she smiled as she went and sat back down at the kitchen table
"he's different though from Tamyson"
I said smiling
"the reason why I ended things with Tamsyon a few months ago was because of the whole spot light thing, an with Nick, he's just... he's different"
"You ended things with Tamyson"
my mom had a worried look on her face. How could that be the only thing that she got out of that whole sentence
"are you okay honey"
she grew from mocking shoulder squeezes to calm, worried shoulder rubs
"I'm fine mom, I swear"
"wait, your mom knows about Tamsyon, but she doesn't even know about your friends?"
my mom's face grew with a huge smile
"friends as in plural, is my baby girl finally becoming a normal teenager"
she laughed as she went in front of me and grabbed my hands
Ben face crack the biggest smile I'd ever seen
"theirs a bunch of us"
Ben reassured her of her daughter normalness. I rolled my eyes at how bad this was gonna be
