Jing
I grabbed a pink sparkly strapless dress and put it up to my body looking in the mirror, trying to decide if I liked it or not.
"what do you guys think of this?"
I asked the girls and Ben as I turned around for them to see it
"It's not... you Jing"
Olora had an expression on her face,
"she's right Jing"
"okay then Arabela, what dress is me"
she smiled as she got up off of the pastis chair and grabbed a dress that was on the wall. It was a black plain velvet dress and she put it up to me.
"perfect"
all of them said in sync making us all laugh. Then she grabbed some black strap heels from the rack an handed them to me. Man this girl knew how to pick out a dress.
"the final touch"
she said with a smile on her face.
"we need something to go with your blond hair and green eyes Arabela"
I put my clothes on the shelve and scanned the room for a pretty dress.
"what about that blue dress?"
Olora pointed to the corner of the store, where a mannequin was at with a blue dress with blue shrivels at the bottom. Man why was everyone so good at picking out dresses, and I just sucked.
"it's beatuful"
she smiled at the dress, her green eyes twinkling.
"hey you were amazing at the football game Jing"
"Thank you Ben, hey who are you going to the dance with?"
he made a face of sadness for a bit
"well obviously not Dillan"
he put on a fake smiled trying not to let use see the sadness in his eyes.
"he'll come around Ben"
Abby reassured him. I felt bad for Ben,
"well I'm going solo to, so if you want we can go together as friends"
"and so am I"
Ben's smile seemed sort of genuine now,
"yea, that sounds nice"
"oh and Abby is going solos, omg is Olora the only one without a date, aww I'm so proud of you"
So this is what happened, Olora finally asked my brother to the dance, and Abby finally convinced Rowan to go to the dance, they're just Nick we had to convince. Were all going to the dance alone. Arabela went to the back of the store and got the dress and came back, it already looked gorgeous.
"it's so pretty"
Abby gawked at the dress,
"mine"
Arabela teased,
"put it on you"
she put it in front of her, god she looked gorgeous, how is she still single, but then again I'm gorgeous and I'm single, the world is cruel. She had this look on her face when she looked in the mirror, like she was suddenly in love with that dress,
"so you like it?"
Olora emphasized that sentence
"Love"
