Dragons

I was reading a book by the lake, I had my back against a tree and the cool air was brushing against my skin. I heard birds chirping, and leaves crunch from behind me. I turned around and saw Ron, Harry, and Hermione. "Hi Y/n. Hagrid was looking for you." Ron told me.

"Also, it's late Y/n. You best be going." Hermione ordered.

"I like watching the sunset." I said.

"Of course you do. C'mon let's go." Harry said as he helped me off the ground. "Here. Hagrid said you'd be needing this as well."

Harry handed me his invisibility cloak and we walked out of the forest and over to Hagrid's hut. He was waiting outside the hut and near the forest. "Did you bring Harry's cloak like I asked?" Hagrid questioned.

"Yeah. I brought the cloak. Hagrid, where are we going?" I asked him.

"You'll see soon enough. Pay attention, this is important. And off with you three!" Hagrid yelled over at the trio standing there awkwardly.

We began walking in the forest. It was pitch black now, stars were out and so was the moon. It was a crescent moon tonight, learned that in my book. Hagrid pulled out a lantern and lit it. "Ah. Much better." He stated.

"What's with the flower?" I asked as the lantern allowed me to see Hagrid. "Hagrid, have you combed your hair?"

"As a matter of fact I have." Hagrid told me.

"Hagrid?" I heard a voice yell.

"Quick Y/n! Put it on!" Hagrid whispered.

I threw the cloak over myself and watched as Madame Maxime approached Hagrid.

"Hello Olympe." Hagrid greeted the large woman.

"Oh Hagrid. I thought you weren't coming, I thought perhaps...you had...forgotten me." Madame Maxime said sounding flustered.

"Couldn't forget you Olympe." Hagrid said staring in awe at Madame Maxime.

"What is it you wanted to show me? When we spoke earlier you sounded so exhilarated." Maxime said.

"You'll be glad you came. Trust me." Hagrid assured her.

Oh great. I was a third wheel. Hagrid walked over to a small opening in the forest, and I saw four huge dragons. They were breathing fire and roaring loudly. "Can we get closer?" Maxime asked.

She walked away trying to get closer. "Dragons? That's the first task? You're joking." I said frantically.

"Come on Y/n. They're seriously misunderstood creatures." Hagrid whispered.

"Although, I have to admit that horntail is a right nasty piece of work. Poor Ron nearly fainted just seeing him you know." Hagrid told me.

"Oh no, poor Ron." I said sarcastically.

Time Skip To Next Morning

I was walking in the halls. A tiring day of classes had gone by of nonstop bullying towards me. The Slytherin's made badges that showed Cedric on it then it switched into words saying "Black stinks". I walked along the other students as they threw insults at me. "Cedric rules!" A boy yelled at me.

"Thanks." I said smiling at him.

I was going to walk through a doorway then two boys stood in front of me. "Like the badge Black?" He asked.

"Excuse me." I said as I pushed them out of my way.

I walked over to Cedric and his friends who kept making fun of me. "Cedric. We need to talk." I said dragging him away from everyone.
