As we drove the humvee’s towards Ororama, we passed by horde of zombies. They were slow but they could easily corner their victims due to their numbers. I looked out the window and noticed that some of them were trying to climb up the humvee’s and others were trying to scratch it.
I was disgusted with what I saw… Everything just happened so fast… First I was at the engineering building with my partner trying to finish our final project completely ignoring the announcement that was made early this morning, when all of a sudden my partner started gurgling and mumbling, ‘til he tried to bite my head off.
I reflexively whacked his head with the thick book I was holding knocking him down and instinctively ran away without asking him what was wrong… ‘til I finally realized what happened.
I leaned my head on the wall of the humvee and tried to relax and get my head together…. But no matter how hard I try to think of a logical explanation… Nothing comes out.
Xinji:
After a few minutes, we finally arrive at Ororama. We parked the humvee’s just in front of the main entrance. The humvee I was in crushed motorbikes that were parked at the right side of the entrance if you were facing it. Well.. No one’s going to use them anymore anyway… Zombies can’t drive.
I turned on the receiver and pressed the button calling out to Kit and Law-law. “Prepare yourselves. From the noise the humvees were making, we’ve caught the attention of a lot of Zombies and they’re all headed this way. When I give the signal, I want each of you to throw pipe bombs away from the entrance. Got it?” there was static before both replied with roger. I asked Shenn to get one of her pipe bombs and throw it out.
Shenn nodded hesitantly and got the bomb read. I pressed the button again… “Ready?....” The horde was coming closer and closer… “3…..” A bit more…. “2….” They were almost near the humvee…. “1….” Shenn, Xag and Judy opened the entrance and threw their pipe bombs away from the entrance. The blinking light attracted all the zombies. Tina pulled Shenn down and hurriedly closed the entrance and so did the others. We waited…. then finally…
BOOM!!!!!
I pressed the button again while reading my weapons and pipe bombs with my other hand…”Move out. Search for Kazuo and Kyle.” All the others replied with roger and some of them even made battle cries… I opened the entrance and jumped out first followed by Tina, then Shenn and Lei. My mom, dad and older brother were left behind. The others that followed were Kit, Jake and Mitsu and behind them were Capz, law2x and Lulu… I just hope we’re not too late.
