Chapter 10

You slowly begin to wake feeling arms wrapped round your waist. Had last night been a dream? Slowly opening your eyes you see Sam sleeping on the bed next to yours and smile before rolling over to see Dean asleep next to you.

It wasn't a dream he was back.

"I still don't get why you didn't want your own room with Dean" Cass now voices from the sofa, causing you to smile.
"Because this is what I've wanted for so long, the four of us like old times" you reply to Cass trying to move out of the bed but this causes Deans arms to tighten around you and pull you back in.

"I'm with Cass we should've got our own room" Dean groggily says placing a kiss on your forehead.
"Morning" you smile kissing him.
"God I missed waking up with you in my arms" Dean smiles at you.
"Awww was Cass not quite the same" you tease.
"I didn't wake up in Dean's arms" Cass looks at you confused.

"I was joking Cass" you laugh having missed Cass and his inability to catch on to sarcasm.
"I missed you too Sammy" you say managing to get out of Dean's arms and jump onto Sam's bed landing on top of him.
"I forgot how annoying you can be" He laughs pushing you off him.
"You didn't see each other?" Deans asks confused.
"A couple of times but because Sam here gave up hunting for a boring normal life, we didn't see each other as much as I liked" you smack Sam's arm.
"What was that for" he asks.
"For leaving me as well" you poke your tongue out at him.

Getting off Sam's bed and going back to snuggle with Dean.
"So those were your new friends last night?" Sam says looking at you with raised eyebrows.
"Clint's my brother and those are his I guess work friends who yes have become my friends" you reply. Before realising you need to go back and give an explanation to them of why you left so suddenly.
The look both Steve and Bucky gave you as you kissed Dean flashes in your mind.

"You have a brother?" Cass now asks.
"Yeah he left when I was young hadn't seen him in 18 years, but I got hurt on a hunt and ended up at the tower, did not make it easy for him for a while" you reply before there is a knock at the door.

"You coming for breakfast" Claire asks as Cass opens up the door.
"Yes I am starving, give me 5 minutes" you jump out of bed and head for the bathroom.
"Let's save water" Dean shouts following you.
"That's our cue to leave" Sam laughs.

After breakfast you decide to head back to the tower alone.
"There's the runaway birthday girl" Tony smirks at you when you enter.
"I'm so sorry Tony last night was just very overwhelming I wasn't expecting them to show, especially since Dean and Cass since they had been away for so long I didn't even know they came back" you start to ramble.
Placing his hand each side of your shoulders he tells your to breathe.
"I really am sorry" you sigh.

"So who was the guy?" Clint now asks as he walks over "and why didn't we know you had a boyfriend, as your big brother I feel I need to meet him?"
"He's not my boyfriend" you quickly reply noticing Steve walking in with Nat.
"Well you seemed pretty happy to see him last night" Tony teased.
"He's umm he's Dean" you can't help but smile.
"Dean who puts a goofy smile on your face" Clint joins in on the teasing.

"Like I said he was away for a while and I wasn't sure if he would ever come back, so yesterday was a shock" you try to explain.
"So they are who you lived with all this time?" Nat asks.
"Yeah, I was pretty much raised with Sam and Dean, Bobby took me in when dad passed. Then the family grew slightly when we met Jody and then Claire"
"I would like to meet them all properly, I want to thank the people who took care of my baby sister" Clint looks at you.

"Oh I don't know" you look down at your feet.
"Invite them for dinner" Tony now speaks up.
"That sounds like a great idea, I can't wait for Clint to threaten Dean" Nat laughs.
"No no threatening please" you shoot a look at Nat who just smiles at you "I'm guessing this is a situation where if I don't invite them you will probably follow me and introduce yourself anyway"
"It's like you know me so well" Tony laughs.
"Fine" you sigh instantly regretting it.
