The night was a haze for everyone. Everyone.
Alira woke up in Achilles' arms. In what state i don't think is exactly suitable to write.
It was pleasant, waking up like this, being held. It's a nice change. Last time she slept in someone's arms, they were gone.
Killian was gone. And she hated it.She slowly woke up, Achilles' face buried in the crook of her neck as he holds her in his arms.
If it wasn't for the circumstance, Alira would be over the moon about this.
But she isn't.
Something about seeing Killian in the gardens with Azaera like that? It stung. More then anything ever could. And she has no clue why.
He's her friend after all. Why is it such a bother?
She doesn't know. So she shoves down the thought and ignores it, continuing to cuddle happily with Achilles in the comfort of her bedroom.----------------------------------------------------------
Killian woke up under much less pleasant circumstances. The previous night, he ended up moaning Alira's same and got slapped by Azaera and their fling ended right there and then.
Both to Killian's favor and dismay. He needed someone. Anyone.
But he wants her. He needs her.
And he refuses to have anyone else.
He has to fix this.So he went to Alira's room. Walking down the long hallways to her, wanting to see her and actually talk. His time with Azaera just made him want her more.
As he walked down the hallway, he froze.
Achilles, walking out of Alira's room, giving her a kiss and then proceeding to walk down the hall like it was nothing. Like it was absolutely nothing to him. Like it wasn't a big deal at all.
As soon as Achilles was out of sight, Killian rushed down the hall, knocking on the door to Alira's room rapidly.
She opens the door, confused to see Killian out of breath and exhausted.
"Killian? Whats going on are you okay?" She asks, worried to see him in such a state, she opens the door to let him in, he takes the offer.
He walks in and his arms wrap around her waist, pulling her closer and whispering in her ear.
"Princess, what was Achilles doing here?"
He whispered, his voice laced with worry.Alira fell silent, and felt embarrassed. She didn't exactly want to say, what had happened the previous night. It's not a topic she feels like sharing. Even if she initiated it all.
This was his worst fear. His absolute nightmare. The worst possible thing that could've happened, happened.
"Seriously? With him?" Killian whispers, as if his entire world has shattered around him.
"You're in no place to talk Killian! I saw you with Azaera, i don't even want to know what i didn't see." She retorts, finding his judgement to me well out of place, he's in no position to judge at all.
"I- That was different-"
"How was it different Killian? How? Explain it."
He didn't want to admit anything. He felt like she would probably find him to be a creep, or a pervert. What was he supposed to say?
'Well when i was intimate with your sister, i thought about you the entire time so i ended up your name and she slapped me and left-'
No! That's a stupid thing to say! He knew that! So he stood there, looking stupid for far too long.So those are the words he ended up saying.
Alira was stunned. She hadn't expected that as an answer. But she laughed. She laughed and laughed and ended up wiping tears of joy from her eyes, finding this absolutely hilarious.
"Seriously? Are you serious Killian?" She managed to utter out inbetween her laughter.
Killian was embarrassed. To say embarrassed is an understatement. He wanted to vanish, sink into a hole and die. His cheeks flushed red and he felt like a moron. All he did was embarrassingly nod. Which made Alira laugh even more.
"Was she any good?" Alira asked, her laughter dying down finally.
"...She wasn't you." He said shyly, not liking the questions.
She smirks a little, known just how damn much she is going to tease him over this.
Killian is never going to live this down and he knows it."Come on, lets go get breakfast." She says with a little smile, atleast relieved to finally talk to him.
"Sure- okay, yeah lets go." Killian mumbled, embarrassed.
They start to walk down the halls, their hands graze across eachothers and Alira takes his hand in hers. Killian blushed shyly, looking away.
"So is this one of your fantasies too huh-?"
"Shut up."
"Okay okay- Bet Azaera didn't hold your hand like this-"
"Shut it, Princess." He said, nudging her arm teasingly.
The day is going to be a long one. Definetly.
And Alira is going to be absolutely relentless.
Which she has every right to be.
