When they saw the king who was poisoned laying on the floor Morana turned to face Arietta. Arietta however seemed to be shaking to her boots.
Completely terrified by what she just saw. She fainted to the floor. Luckily Morana catched her and held her in her arms while she civered her eyes in an instant.
Lucian glanced over the room and closely stepped forward to the king. His face slowly turned from a kind gentle smile to a quite intimidating look on his face.
"Ezekiel.." Lucian said with an intimidating look on his face.
"I thought you said we were not gonna get involved in the other kingdom their problems." Ezekiel said witha smug that seemed like he made fun of his older brother.
"Your highness, Are you okay?" Lucian said while he crouched to the ground. He faked a kind smile as he started to look around.
"Ezekiel, Take the princesses to another room and-"Lucian said while facing his brother. Before he could finish what he said he was interrupted by a guard. that pointed his sword towards him.
"Well hello there, can I help you?" Lucian said with a smug look on his face.
"You are an outsider. I suggest you step back and let the guards handle this." The guard said. Lucian slowly got up as the guard started to withdraw his blade.
"My apologies for interrupting. I didn't know the king had any guards. Nevertheless it seems I was mistaken." Lucian said with a mocking tone while stoll showing the guards a kind smile.
"I beg your pardon?" As the guard was ready to draw his sword again.
Lucian started to chuckle. "We shall take our leaves now as you suggested. It would only be wise to listen to the guards of the empire." Lucian said in a mocking tone as he was about to leave.
Lucian placed his hand on Morana her shoulder and soflty whispered. "I am sure you are just as shocked as your sister. You handled it well. Let's head out for now." Arietta, Morana and Lucian start to leave the room as Ezekiel still seems to be in it.
"This might be a rude question but I am kinda hungry. Is there like uh pasta or something" Ezekiel asked while everyone was still visibly upset.
"No? Well keep crying then I am sorry for your loss. Oh wait he isn't dead is he? I am jusr gonna go.." Ezekiel says as he walks out.
"LUCIAN, WAIT FOR ME." Ezekiel screams as he runs towards Lucian.
Morana caught Lucian being annoyed what made Lucian blush in embarrassment. Morana then chuckled to herself. "Sister, is father dead?" Arietta said while still trembling in fear.
"Let's first get to a more quiet location." Lucian said in a soft gently tone.
Morana snapped out her shocked state and bowed to the princes. "My apologies for getting you involved." Morana said in an elegant tone.
"Yeah you should be-" Before Ezekiel could finish he got punched by his brother jn the stomach.
"Please don't worry. We were the ones that showed up uninvited. I hope you don't mind." Lucian said with a kind smile.
Before Morana could finish speaking her mind Arietta woke up from her faint and got up from the floor. "Sister, who is that?" Arietta said while looking at the door.
It was the priest from the holy land. He entered and greeted the princes from the Aurum kingdom and Arietta. He simply looked up and down at Morana before he looked away in disgust.
