After leaving your parents and little sister in Australia you went back to your motherland Korea and start a new chapter there, but first a few years back in time to where it al started.

"Hey mom jiwon and I actually wanted to talk with you about something" I say serious but nervous.
"Oh okay my lovelys, what did you two wanna talk about?" Mom asks us.
"Well uhm..." Jiwon starts but quickly looks at me.
"I woke up in the middle of the night to weird noises outside so I went to look and when I thought it was nothing I saw you and some guy but at that moment jiwon woke up too." I say looking mom in her eyes.
"Are you sure that was me?" Mom asks me avoiding mine and jiwon's eyes.
"Yes it was you, how can we not recognize our own mother." Jiwon says with a tear in her eye.
"I saw you and him kissing mom" I pause before continuing "you were kissing him." I say voice trembling.
"I... Girls I'm so sorry you saw that but..." Mom breaks down into tears not able to finish.
I look over at jiwon and she has started crying too. She looks at me and I nod my head to our mom and she understood it immediately.
We walk up to mom and hug her tight as we all cry.
"I-it's okay mom we just wanted to know if it was really you before asking this next question." I say crying.
"And that is honey?" Mom asks with tears rolling down.
"Are you planning to d-divorce dad?" I ask carefully.
"Please- tell us- mom." Jiwon says hiccuping in between her words.
"I am." Mom says drying her tears and smiling weakly.
I hug mom even tighter before letting go while jiwon starts crying more.
"Oh baby, it's okay." Mom says comforting jiwon.
"Are we really gonna leave dad?" Jiwon then speaks up with puffy eyes looking at mom.
"Yes baby, it's better for you both and me" mom holds jiwon with 1 arm and caresses my cheek with her free hand. "I never thought he would treat his own children and wife like this, but everything is already planned out so you 2 have nothing to worry about." Mom says smiling a little at her last sentence.
"So we kinda get stepdad?" Jiwon asks.
"Kind of yes." Mom says
I look at the time on my phone and see that I've got a missed messages and calls from bitna.
"I've got to go, bitna is waiting on me." I say as I quickly put on my shoes and get my bag before running out the house and get on my bike.
Mom ends up taking jiwon to school and goes to work herself.

I see bitna sitting on the grass with the 2 Starbucks next to her.
