Soojin's pov.

"What!? Have y'all never seen anyone annoyed and angry before!" Bitna says loudly looking around causing them to turn back to what they were looking at or doing before but Leo had other plans as he was leaving some classmates and walked up to us.

Bitna and I rolled out eyes and were about to stand up when Leo reached our desks.

"So lady's, I didn't know we were in the same class." Leo said and looked about both of us.

"We didn't know either and now just wanna leave now that you're here." I said standing up and dragging bitna with me outside the classroom.

Leo just watched us leave with a grin on his face.

"Sugar calm down, let's just go to the roof and chill there." Bitna says showing me her school bag with all kinds of food in it.

"Oh god knows how much I love you right now amor." I say wiping fake tears away and walking to the roof with bitna.

"Hahaha food is the solution for everything when it comes to school and heartbreaks." Bitna says now dragging me up the last pair of stairs and opens the door to the roof.

As soon as the sun hits my face I felt relief and peace. I breath in the fresh air and let Bitna take me to our spot on the roof.

"Ugh I missed this view so much." Bitna cry's out.

"So have I, but do you still have IT in ur backpack?" I ask bitna not sure if she still got my pack I left with her.

"Do you mean your cigarettes?" She asks me with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes, those." I say unsure and looking down.

Bitna bursts out in laughing before speaking again. "Don't worry, I've kept them save for you." She says throwing me my pack of cigarettes.

"Thank you, mi amor." I say showing her finger hearts and taking a cigarette in my mouth and lighting it.

"Always my friend." Bitna says back as we stand by the railing and she puts her head on my shoulder.

I pat her head and start smoking.
Yes I know it's bad but it was the only thing that kept me sane at home with my father around.

"Soojinah, do you think that your dad will object to the divorce?" Bitna says after a bit of silence.

"I Honestly don't know, but I hope not" I say hoping everything goes well for my mother.

"Let's enjoy this little time we have on the roof and not worry for now." Bitna says in a calm and soothing voice.

"Okayyy." I say smiling and taking a snack from bitna's bag. "Oh my god you got gimbab with you." I say excited and unwrapping the package.

While laughing a little she says "Why wouldn't I have our fave snack with me and give me a piece too will ya." Demanding the last part.

Snickering to myself I give her some of the gimbab and eat the rest myself while enjoying the view our school has on a nearby park.

Lunch period

We've just finished our PE class and ofc bitna and I were being split up when we were playing dodgeball. She has fucking good aim and had Leo on her team and I could swear he had something against me bc he kept throwing the balls at me with force and I'm sure I got a lot of bruises on my legs and arms. I swear to God if we're playing dodgeball again soon I'm gonna hit him where the sun doesn't shine.
