Judges Note: Personally I think titling a book is always one of the hardest components of writing, you know encompassing your novel in a short phrase or word, given all the hard work you've done behind the scenes with writing and constructing your characters, world and plot. Judging this was hard, as there were a lot of good titles, but as per with a competition there can only be a shortlist.
As for the results of our other participants - results shall be dm'd to you directly :)
Here are our shortlisters:
1st Place: Mongmon13
Title: A Desolate Heart
Comments: I am in love with this title. I think it has such a ring to it, yet creates such an aura of intrigue. What has driven the heart to become so bleak and empty is there any means of redemption or healing prospective? With the employment 'a', you further emphasise a theme of loneliness, which I can already infer that this book will entail an emotional rollercoaster. Well done and I wish you all the very best with your work.
2nd Place: CleoNA924
Title: The Dreams of Reality and Adeline the Maid
Comments: A definitely intriguing title - I can see why this would draw the attention of your readers. As people we tend to like to dream out of the confines of reality of what our lives could be like, which I could presume that this is what Adeline longs to do as maybe we could see her go on a journey to either improve her life or branch out into the wider world. Well done and I wish you all the best with your work.
3rd Place (tie):
Title: Mini_Padfoot
Book Title: Heart's Desire
Comments: As humans, I think sometimes, we don't necessarily face what our heart truly desires, and often stray off into alternative paths - I love how you reiterate this symbol within this title and the importance of following your dreams. Life is short and sometimes, we have to put ourselves first regardless of what others may think. Well done and I wish you all the very best with your work.
3rd place (tie):
Title: HeideHunt
Book Title: The Marks of Engkanto
Comments: I love how refreshing this title is. Are the marks physical or metaphorical? Are they scars? Who is Engkanto, and how did they come to obtain these, and how will it come to affect them during the course of the story? In Wattpad, you don't often see creativity with such an alternative and refreshing approach like this, so really well done and I truly wish you all the best with your work.
