Flashback (4 days ago)

"Couldn't you just tell Dad we don't want any anniversary celebration?" Y/n stated firmly.

"No... Because he insisted, you know Dad... When he wants, he'll do it," Heeseung explained with a sigh.

Y/n didn't want to have an anniversary celebration. She had expressed her desire to Heeseung to stop the reunion, but nothing seemed to work.

Since that day with Heeseung and Min-Joo, he had changed. He became more calm, gentle, and somehow loving towards Y/n. However, that didn't change anything for her. Her traumas still lingered, and she couldn't let her guard down.

Things became more confusing for Y/n as Heeseung, aside from being a cold-blooded jerk, became increasingly affectionate as the days passed.

She often wondered what had happened to him to cause this change. She remembered the day Heeseung came home with puffy eyes, presumably from crying, and ever since then, he had changed.

"Y/n, you can move into my room if you want," Heeseung's words caught her off guard. She thought she might have misheard, so she asked again, "W-What?"

"Um... I said... You can move into my room from now on," he repeated. Y/n was too stunned to speak.

"If you don't want, it's okay," Heeseung stated softly.

"Yeah..." Y/n managed to utter, feeling overwhelmed and unsettled by his sudden offer. Something had definitely happened

It was their 2nd day at the yacht, and Heeseung's and Y/n's families gathered at one big table for dinner. The conversation drifted through various topics, mostly mundane company affairs, until Heeseung's mom brought up a rather personal question.

"So... Y/n, how's Heeseung as a husband?" she asked out of the blue. Y/n glanced at Heeseung, who was smiling at her like an idiot, before turning back and replying, "A very lovable husband." Awkward laughter ensued, with both Y/n and Heeseung joining in uncomfortably.

"That's good then. If Heeseung did something terrible, don't be afraid to call me, okay? I'll punch him myself!" Heeseung's mom joked, prompting more laughter.

"Heeseung is a good man. That's why I entrusted her to Heeseung," Y/n's dad added, and Y/n forced a flat smile.

"We're glad that both of you made it for three years. Well, we all know it's arranged, but we're glad that you finally accepted each other. We're so happy," Y/n's mom chimed in, and both Y/n and Heeseung smiled bitterly while looking down.

"By the way, I was thinking that both of you should have some quality time together here on the yacht on the last day. Besides, I already have tons of work at the office," Heeseung's dad suggested. Their parents nodded in agreement, leaving them stunned before they reluctantly nodded as well.

"That's a great idea, Heenan! We'll be leaving after dinner," Y/n's mom declared, prompting Y/n and Heeseung to stand up and speak.

"But Mom, Dad, I think it's much better if you all stay here," Y/n said nervously.

"Why? Like what Heenan said, you both should have quality time together. And for us, of course," she added with a pointed look at Heeseung's parents, "to have grandchildren!" Y/n's mom exclaimed happily.

Both of them went silent for a moment, then laughed awkwardly. "Sure, Mom... Why not?" Heeseung agreed, earning another glare from Y/n.

"Yes, that's my boy!" Heeseung's dad chimed in.
