Chapter 2: The First Challenge

"Why are we getting up so early? It's only 8:00 AM!" Flower exclaimed angrily.
"I agree, this camp is stupid! I wanna sleep in more!" Snowball agreed.
"Ready Ice Cube? This day is going to be fun!" Bubble said excitedly.
"Yeah!" Ice Cube agreed.
"Ready Firey? This day will be great!" Leafy said.
"Ready when you are!" Firey said.
"I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready! Woohoo!" Pen exclaimed excitedly.
"How can he be so energetic at just 8 in the morning?" Blocky asked, trying to get up.
"I don't know, I can't even be that excited."Eraser replied, trying to get up as well.
"This day is going to be awesome! Right Pin?" Coiny asked.
"Yep! I wonder what we will be doing today!" Pin replied.
"Maybe something super fun!" Coiny said. Rocky barfed on his bed.
"Just hope that you don't have to clean it up later," Spongy said. Rocky nodded and made a noise.
"Aren't you glad I'm not gonna vomit on the cabin?" Rocky asked as both he and Spongy went outside. Spongy gasped.
"I haven't heard you say anything in a long time!" Spongy exclaimed.
"I guess I figured it out!" Rocky said.
"Well, that's good for you!" Spongy acknowledged before Rocky barfed on him and the cabin.
"Wow! How can you cover such a big building like that with your vomit?" Spongy asked.
"I don't know!" Rocky said.
"What in the like, world?" Match asked as she saw Spongy and Rocky's cabin.
"What's going on Match- oh my pencil sharpener!" Pencil exclaimed as she saw Spongy and Rocky's cabin.
"Well, I don't know where we will go to sleep now," said Spongy.
"I know! Outside!" Coiny jokingly said.
"Very funny Coiny, I don't think so," said Spongy.
"It does look cool! Let's take a picture of it!" Blocky said, taking out his phone and taking a picture of it.
"Now I'm going to post it! Hahahahaha! But to make it better..." he ran to Woody and kicked him on to the barf cabin. He took the picture as Woody landed on to the barf cabin.
"Hahahaha! Let's post it!" Blocky said.
"Absolutely not!" Firey exclaimed, taking the phone away from Blocky.
"Hey that's my phone!" Blocky said.
"Only if you don't post that!" Firey said angrily.
"Ok fine!" Blocky said somewhat angrily.
"Oh my flake! That looks horrendous!" Snowball angrily said.
"At least it kind of looks good because then they can sleep outside!" Flower said mischievously.
"Not cool Flower! No way, I'm not sleeping outside!" Spongy exclaimed.
"Well, what to expect now?" Flower asked.
"I don't know, but I'm not sleeping outside!" Spongy replied.
"What's going on here kids?" Announcer asked, walking towards them, before noticing the barf cabin, "did Rocky do this?" Announcer chuckled.
"Yep," said Tennis Ball.
"I don't know where Rocky and I will sleep now," said Spongy.
"Well.. wanna see a magic trick?" Announcer asked.
"Sure!" Spongy said.
"Ooh ooh! I love magic tricks! Do it!" Pen said excitedly.
"Yeah! Do it!" Bubble said excitedly as she and Pen were jumping up and down with excitement. Announcer chuckled and did the magic trick. The cabin was cleaned up in seconds.
"Wow! Cool!" Pen exclaimed.
"Thanks for your help Announcer!" Spongy said.
"No problem!" Announcer said.
"I also made some yummy breakfast for you all to eat if you are hungry!" Announcer added.
"Cool! Thanks Announcer!" Coiny said.
"No problem!" Announcer replied, giving Coiny a thumbs up.
"What are we having Announcer?" Pen asked excitedly.
"I made some pancakes and waffles!" Announcer said happily.
"Ooh ooh ooh ooh! I love pancakes and waffles!" Bubble exclaimed excitedly.
"That sounds like a boring meal!" Snowball exclaimed angrily.
"I'm sure you will like it Snowball!" Announcer said.
"I agree with Snowball! I want something else.. like cereal!" Flower exclaimed angrily.
"I'm sure you will like it too Flower! All you have to do is take a bite and see if you will enjoy it!" Announcer said happily.
"Ok! That's easy!" Coiny exclaimed, taking a bite out of the pancake.
"Good!" Coiny exclaimed, making a OK gesture.
"Glad you like it Coiny!" Announcer said.
"I like it too! These pancakes and waffles are awesome!" Pen exclaimed.
"Oh boy! Me too!" Bubble said excitedly.
"Glad you both like it!" Announcer said happily.
"People! Hurry up and eat! We have to get ready for the challenge!" Golf Ball said.
"I'm not going to start the challenge until after everyone eats Golf Ball, but I appreciate that you are ready for it!" Announcer said.
"Ok," said Golf Ball.
"My pancake is too small! I want a bigger one!" Flower said angrily.
"Me too! My waffle is the size of one of Golf Ball's dimples!" Snowball exclaimed angrily.
"Hey!" Golf Ball said angrily.
"You both get mad over one little thing most of the time, no wonder you both share a cabin!" Coiny said jokingly.
"Oh be quiet Coiny!" Snowball said somewhat angrily.
"Well, I believe my pancakes and waffles are perfect the way they are! They taste great too!" Leafy said.
"I agree!" Firey said.
"Glad you both like them!" Announcer said. When everyone finished eating they went outside.
"What are we doing today Announcer?" Bubble asked excitedly, jumping up and down, along with Pen.
"The first challenge is a game of hide and seek!" Announcer said happily.
"What?! That's stupid!" Snowball said angrily.
"Yeah! That's a little kids game!" Flower said angrily.
"I'm sure you both will like it!" Announcer said.
"Well, who will be the hiders and the seekers?" Pen asked excitedly.
"Good question!" Announcer said, giving Pen a thumbs up, "The Naturers and The Pointy Thumbtackers-" Announcer couldn't finish his sentence because Coiny said, "It still has a good ring to it!"
"Well, that team name was dumb!" Flower said angrily.
"I agree!" Snowball said angrily.
"I'm sure you both will like your team soon enough! Anyway, The Naturers and The Pointy Thumbtackers will be given those roles. They will swap after every round," Announcer said.
"How many rounds will there be?" Bubble asked excitedly, raising her hand.
"There will be 2 rounds so both teams will have a chance on being the seekers and the hiders!" Announcer said, "The seekers will be given a time of 20 minutes, if that time runs out, the hiders will win," he added.
"Which team will be the hiders and the seekers?" Eraser asked.
"The Naturers will be the hiders, and The Pointy Thumbtackers will be the seekers!" Announcer said happily.
"Ooh ooh! That's cool! I get to find people!" Pen exclaimed excitedly.
"I get to hide too! I bet I can find the spot no one will find!" Bubble exclaimed happily.
"Alright! The seekers will count to 20 so that the hiders will have time to hide! Ready? Set? Go!" Announcer said happily. The members of The Naturers quickly took off running while The Pointy Thumbtackers counted to 20. When the members of The Pointy Thumbtackers finished counting, The Naturers were all probably in their hiding spots.
"Alright guys, half of you will look in the forest, while the other half of us will look around here!" Pin said.
"Aw great! Boring!" Snowball said angrily.
"Yeah! This is dumb already!" Flower said angrily.
"Do you both want to win or not?" Pin asked somewhat angrily.
"I don't care! I don't like this place anyway!" Snowball said angrily.
"Yeah! This place sucks! I don't care if I don't win!" Flower said.
"Well, we're not going to lose whether you like it or not! So I suggest that half of us look around here while the other half of us look in the forest!" Pin said.
"Fine! We'll play this dumb game the way you want it to be, "Golf Ball II"!" Snowball said angrily.
"Hey!" Pin said angrily.
"Why don't we all do what Pin said? I, along with my friends and the others can look in the forest, while the other half can look around here!" Pen said.
"That actually sounds better enough because I get to go with my friends!" Snowball said.
"I guess," Flower said, clearly not agreeing with Pen.
"Alright! Let's go before the other team has more advantage than us!" Pin said.
"I know! I will kick Woody into the forest to see if he can hit anyone!" Blocky said.
"Oh no, not again!" Woody thought. Woody screamed as he was kicked into the forest. He landed on Ice Cube.
"Ouch!" Ice Cube exclaimed, hurt. She looked around to see what hit her. She saw Woody on the ground.
"Did you do this Woody?" Ice Cube asked.
"Yeah, but it wasn't my fault. It was Blocky who kicked me into the forest, I'm sorry." Woody said.
"It's ok!" Ice Cube said, "I will get revenge on Blocky as soon as I can!" Ice Cube added.
"It looks like Ice Cube has been found! So that means The Naturers have 9 more members remaining!" Announcer announced. When Flower snuck behind Teardrop's hiding spot, she kicked Teardrop in the back.
"Ha! I found you!" Flower said happily. Teardrop glared at Flower when she kicked her in the back.
"That's not nice!" Leafy whispered so they wouldn't hear her, witnessing the scene.
"It looks like Flower found Teardrop which means The Naturers have 8 more members remaining and also 15 more minutes until the hiders win!" Announcer announced.
"Come on everyone! Let's hurry!" Pin said.
"Alright!" Pen exclaimed excitedly. As Bubble was hiding behind a tree far into the forest, she heard faint footsteps.
"Oh no! One of the team members probably found me!" Bubble thought nervously. She moved a bit so that she won't be easier to notice. The footsteps got louder, looks like Bubble's time hiding is up!
"Oh no!" she thought nervously. It was Snowball who thought he found her. As he moved closer, he found Bubble. He tiptoed so that she won't hear him coming and popped her.
"I, popped, Bubble!" Snowball said happily.
"Hey!" Pencil was about to exclaim angrily until Match covered her mouth.
"Don't like, say anything out loud, or else we'll like, be found!" Match whispered.
"Sorry," said Pencil.
"It looks like Bubble has been found! Which means that The Naturers have 7 more members to be found!" Announcer announced. Announcer found out Bubble died so he wasn't too happy, he thought of giving Snowball a talk afterwards. Rocky barfed on the ground.
"Rocky! Be quiet! They will hear us!" Golf Ball whispered angrily. Rocky barfed on Golf Ball in response.
"Grrr!" Golf Ball growled. Rocky barfed on the ground again.
"Rocky! I said-" Golf Ball couldn't finish her sentence because Snowball appeared behind her.
"WHA-" Golf Ball shouted.
"I found you, bossy bot! I'm not dumb after all, am I?" Snowball asked angrily.
"You may be proud of yourself that you found me! But according to my calculations, your IQ is still pretty low!" Golf Ball boasted.
"You're one to talk!" Snowball said angrily as he grabbed her.
"Hey! Put me down!" Golf Ball said angrily.
"This is what you will get for saying that to me!" Snowball said angrily as he threw her.
"WAAAAOOOAH!!" Golf Ball shouted as she was being thrown from Snowball.
"It looks like Golf Ball and Rocky have been found! So that means The Naturers have 5 more members left!" Announcer announced. Announcer didn't like what Snowball was doing, so he thought of giving Snowball a talk afterwards.
"We have 5 more members left, come on we can do this everyone!" Leafy whispered.
"Yes! All we have to do is not make a sound!" Firey whispered. Pen spotted a big green ball in the bush. Pen trimmed the bush away to find no other than Tennis Ball!
"Wasn't there a bush here?" Tennis Ball asked before he saw Pen.
"I found you!" Pen exclaimed excitedly, jumping up and down.
"Heh heh! You found me alright!" Tennis Ball said.
"It looks like Tennis Ball has been found! So that means we have 4 more members of The Naturers left, and 5 more minutes left on the time!" Announcer announced happily. Announcer went to recover Bubble, who was popped by Snowball.
"What happened?" Bubble asked as she got recovered.
"You got popped by Snowball, I don't like what he is doing, so I am going to talk to him after the game," said Announcer.
"Oh, what is he doing wrong?" Bubble asked.
"He is hurting your teammates too much, so I'm going to talk to him," said Announcer.
"Ok, what you said about him doesn't sound ok to me either," said Bubble.
"Yes, which is why I'm going to talk to him afterwards." Announcer replied.
"Come on guys! We only have 5 more minutes!" Pin exclaimed.
"On it!" Pen exclaimed excitedly.
"It's not like we might win anyway, they are hard to find and we only have 5 minutes," said Eraser.
"Do you want to win, or not?" Pin asked.
"I don't care if we win anyway! I want to leave this place!" Flower said angrily.
"You too?! Come on!" Pin said angrily.
"Whatever!" Flower said angrily.
"I agree with Flower, this game sucks!" Snowball said angrily.
"Oh no you both don't! If we lose, it's going to be your fault and I hope that one of you will be eliminated for not helping!" Pin said angrily.
"I don't care if I get eliminated, what matters is that I wouldn't have to be here!" Flower argued.
"Well, we're not going to win if you three waste time arguing," said Needle.
"Facts!" Coiny said.
"Alright fine, but if you don't want to help, then don't get mad if you get eliminated early!" Pin said. They then split up to start looking for the other members of The Naturers.
"I still love Needys!" Pencil said to Match.
"Pencil! Y-" Match couldn't finish her sentence because as if Needle heard what Pencil said, she ran up and slapped Pencil, "Don't call me Needy!" she exclaimed angrily.
"Match and Pencil have been found! Which means that there are only 2 members of The Naturers remaining!" Announcer announced.
"I wonder who else has not been found yet!" Pin said.
"Hmmm, as far as I remember, I believe Leafy and Firey, aka, the dumb jerk, are the only ones that have not been found yet!" Coiny replied.
"Hey!" Firey whispered angrily.
"I know! I can kick Woody into the forest again!" Blocky said.
"No, we're not doing that again," said Pen.
"Then I will!" Flower said voluntarily, kicking Woody into the forest. Woody screamed as he was kicked into the forest. He landed on nothing.
"Times up! 20 minutes have passed! Which means that The Naturers get a point!" Announcer announced happily.
"Great! We lost!" Pin said angrily.
"Hurray! We won Firey!" Leafy said happily, giving Firey a high five.
"We won?! Hurray!" Bubble exclaimed excitedly, jumping up and down. Announcer smiled.
"We are now going to switch roles, which means that this time, The Naturers are the seekers, and The Pointy Thumbtackers are the hiders!" Announcer said happily.
"Oh great, I'm not the best hider!" Blocky said somewhat angrily.
"Just do your very best Blocky! I know you can do it!" Announcer encouraged.
"Ok, thanks for trying to help me Announcer," said Blocky.
"No problem!" Announcer said happily.
"Wow! That's cool! I get to hide!" Pen said excitedly.
"Yeah! I also get to find people too!" Bubble said happily.
"I can get revenge on Blocky!" Ice Cube thought mischievously. The Naturers counted to 20 as The Pointy Thumbtackers went somewhere to hide.
"People! Let's look around and fast!" Golf Ball said.
"On it!" Bubble exclaimed excitedly, running into the forest.
"She's ready to go!" Firey said.
"Of course! Which means that you all should get ready too!" Golf Ball said.
"Ok bossy bot, we'll do what you say!" Pencil mocked.
"Hey! Do you want to win, or not?" Golf Ball asked angrily.
"Um, I would like to win the challenge," Pencil said.
"Ok, so that means that you all should go! So go go!" Golf Ball said.
"Yes mam!" Firey said jokingly. They all went into the forest to look.
"I found someone!" Bubble said happily.
"Who is it?" Tennis Ball asked. They heard giggling of someone right behind Bubble.
"Ooh! It's Pen!" Leafy said.
"Hi!" Pen said excitedly, "I've been found!"
"Yes you have! No hard feelings, right?" Bubble asked.
"Nope! This is just a game of Hide and Seek and I like it!" Pen said excitedly.
"Pen has been found! Which means that The Pointy Thumbtackers have 9 more members remaining that are hiding!" Announcer announced happily.
"Well! Let's go into the forest everyone!" Leafy said.
"Ready!" Bubble said excitedly. Ice Cube wondered into the forest to find a red block.
"Aha!" Ice Cube thought happily. Tip toeing so that he won't hear her. When she was behind him without him knowing she kicked him in the back.
"Ouch!" Blocky exclaimed angrily.
"Revenge!" Ice Cube said happily.
"What did I do?" Blocky asked somewhat angrily.
"You kicked Woody into the air and made him hit me!" Ice Cube said.
"Oh, well, I didn't think it would land on someone like you!" Blocky said somewhat angrily.
"Well, now you do!" Ice Cube said mischievously.
"Blocky has been found! Which means that there are 8 members of The Pointy Thumbtackers remaining!" Announcer announced.
"Come on guys! Why are we losing members every second!" Pin whispered angrily.
"You're one to talk!" Snowball whispered angrily.
"Hey! Do you want to win, or not?" Pin whispered angrily.
"I don't care!" Snowball whispered angrily.
"Well I d-" Pin couldn't finish her sentence because she felt vomit all over her. Rocky was seen on a tree above Pin.
"Welp, I guess I've been found, and it's all thanks to you Snowball!" Pin said angrily.
"Hey! You st-" Snowball couldn't finish his sentence as Rocky barfed on him from above.
"Aw great! Thanks Rocky!" Snowball said angrily.
"You're welcome!" Rocky said.
"I don't think he understands sarcasm," Snowball said.
"Pin and Snowball have been found! Which means that there are 6 more members of The Pointy Thumbtackers remaining!" Announcer announced.
"Aw great! This is not going well!" Flower thought angrily. Teardrop was right behind her. She jumped in front of Flower, which made her jump.
"Aw great! I've been found!" Flower said angrily. Teardrop smiled mischievously, then did sign language which translated to: "Payback!"
"Flower has been found! Which means that there are 5 more members of The Pointy Thumbtackers remaining!" Announcer announced happily. Firey wondered around in the forest, he looked up at a tree.
"Ooh, is that a coconut?" Firey asked mischievously.
"Oh no!" Coiny thought angrily.
"I'm going to shake it off!" Firey said.
"Aw great! I've been found by that dumb jerk for sure!" Coiny thought angrily. Firey shook the tree which made Coiny fall off.
"Haha! I found you Coiny!" Firey said happily.
"Why did you think I was a coconut?" Coiny asked angrily.
"I don't know.. because you look like one?" Firey asked jokingly.
"Grrr!" Coiny growled angrily, they both slapped each other.
"Guys! Stop fighting in the forest!" Golf Ball said angrily.
"Fine, mom!" Coiny mocked angrily.
"And don't call me that either!" Golf Ball said angrily.
"Coiny has been found! Which means that there are 4 more members of The Pointy Thumbtackers remaining!" Announcer announced.
"Aw great! We're doing horrible!" Eraser muttered angrily.
"I still love Needys!" Pencil told Match. Needle heard what Pencil said so she ran and slapped her.
"Don't call me Needy!" Needle exclaimed angrily before realizing that she had been found.
"Guess that worked this time!" Match said to Pencil.
"Aw seriously!" Needle said somewhat angrily.
"Needle has been found! Which means that there are 3 members of The Pointy Thumbtackers remaining, and 10 more minutes left on the clock!" Announcer announced happily.
"Awesome! We're doing great, team!" Leafy said happily.
"Hurray!" Bubble said excitedly, jumping up and down.
"Good for you!" Eraser thought somewhat angrily.
"I see something big and yellow!" Bubble said.
"Ew, gross! It's Spongy!" Match said, disgusted.
"Hey!-" Spongy exclaimed but trailed off when he found out that he had been found.
"Spongy has been found! Which means that there are 2 members of The Pointy Thumbtackers remaining!" Announcer announced.
"That wasn't very nice Match, I thought you said that you would be nicer to Spongy," said Bubble.
"Well, he is like-" Match couldn't finish her sentence because Bubble said,
"No, now please don't be mean to him anymore."
"Ok, I'm sorry Bubble," said Match.
"It's alright, but please be nicer to Spongy," said Bubble.
"Ok," said Match.
"Oh look! I see someone hiding in the woods, and they are pink!" Firey said.
"Hee hee! It's Eraser!" Bubble exclaimed.
"Fine, you found me!" Eraser said somewhat angrily. Bubble jumped up and down excitedly, then hugged Eraser. Eraser couldn't help but hug her back, smiling.
"Eraser has been found! Which means that The Pointy Thumbtackers have 1 more member remaining!" Announcer announced happily.
"I can't hold on any longer," Woody thought, trying to hold on to the branch. He screamed as he fell down.
"Oh no! Someone needs help!" Leafy exclaimed worriedly.
"Let's go look!" Tennis Ball said. They found Woody on the ground.
"Are you like, ok Woody? We like, heard you scream," said Match.
"I'm ok, I'm found am I?" Woody asked, realizing that he had been found.
"Yep, you are found!" Leafy said.
"All the members of The Pointy Thumbtackers have been found! Which means that The Naturers get a point! Which also means that The Pointy Thumbtackers are up for elimination!" Announcer said.
"Great! We lost!" Pin said angrily.
"Yeah! And it's your fault!" Snowball said angrily.
"My fault? What did I do?" Pin asked angrily.
"You are a way too bossy leader like Golf Ball!" Snowball said angrily.
"Hey! I'm just trying to lead the team!" Pin said angrily.
"May I have Snowball with me?" Announcer asked.
"Ok," said Needle, somewhat confused.
"Haha! You're in trouble!" Pin said.
"Grrr!" Snowball growled at Pin.
"Snowball, I didn't like what you were doing to the other contestants. Especially since you killed Bubble as well," said Announcer.
"Ok, and?" Snowball asked.
"And, I don't want the contestants to be hurt like that. Especially because this is supposed to be a family friendly fun game for every one of you," said Announcer.
"Ok Announcer, I'm sorry," said Snowball, somewhat clearly not sorry.
"It's ok Snowball, but please be nicer to the other contestants on your team, and on the other team, alright?" Announcer asked.
"Ok," said Snowball.
"Good!" Announcer said happily. After a bit, Announcer did not only talk to Snowball, but he talked to Blocky, Ice Cube, Needle, Firey, and Coiny. They looked a bit sad.
"Listen, I still love you kids. I just don't want you to hurt the other contestants or each other, do you understand me?" Announcer said.
"Yes, we're sorry Announcer," said Firey.
"It's ok. You kids are free to go out and be with your friends, it's a very nice day out so I hope you kids enjoy it!" Announcer said happily.
"We will!" Coiny said. Announcer smiled brightly, "Awesome!"
He opened the door to let them out, then got out himself.

"You all better not vote for me! Or, or.. I'll crush you!" Flower exclaimed angrily.
"What she said!" Snowball agreed.
