It was the first day of Summer we one we wouldn't see each other for quite a while only text messages here and there and the occasional reading of a long note. But we had to keep it alive it wasn't really all that much different than before every word special every day left me wondering about her yet unbothered by the ticking hand of time passing by waiting until the next text or the next thoroughly planned date or the next simple night out. But there would be one thing that separated us for a whole 12 days. No communication besides a nifty little note I created and a few memories. The note ad simple instructions of every day each different from the last. We had also planned that we would look for Orion's belt in the sky because it bound together the constellation same as our love bound s together to create a beautiful picture that all could see. Or perhaps it was for the three things that would bind us together even more our love fore one another our fear of losing one another and our constant everlasting happiness between the two. I almost couldn't believe it we were going to be completely separated for what would seem like lifetime of course I would think of her every day and I would wonder what she was doing at every resting point me wishing that I had a cold glass of tea mixed with a tad of lemonade nothing gets much better than that on a hot day which I'm expecting every day after all it is New Mexico.
