VI: Hindsight

Third POV

Riku was just about bouncing and acting how he normally did by the time the evening time arrived.

Just yesterday, he was shivering with chills and his fever was fluctuating his body temperature, but now he was eating and relaxing comfortably with Hiro.

As Izuku wrapped up the third mandated on the phone session with Mr.Inui inside the kitchen, he'd take occasionally glances at the boy who finished their dinner.

A regular meal for Hiro, but oatmeal with berries for Riku because they wanted to ensure he could keep his food down before anything too real was placed into him.

The nephrite jade eyed omega couldn't help but smile at Katsuki's son's quickening recovery, what's more, Mr.Inui said that Izuku was definitely improving and should come in tomorrow so they could have a real talk and he could medically clear him.

Once he was medically accounted for, Mr.Inui added that if there were times where he felt like he couldn't handle the mere thoughts then he could always come back and they'd repeat and do a full week it if need be.

Talking about Hiroto sent shivers down his spine and his old home felt like a hell on earth, but now that he'd been brought here and was reassured he and his precious pup were safe, it felt like he had nothing to worry about.

And it was all thanks to Katsuki.

Izuku raked a hand through his hair, glad that the cuts had healed up well along with the bruises.

That sense of guilt came back to him.

He looked back to the boys, who were just about wrapped up with their meals, as he picked up the dishes and placed them into the sink for cleaning in the morning.

In the midst of heading on upstairs, Riku squeezed Izuku's hand,

"Do you mind me asking about what the second grade field trip is going to be?" He suddenly imposed, "Some of the upperclassmen students have begun to talk about their own."

As they got up to the top step, Izuku squatted to his level and brushed his hair.

"We plan on talking about during homeroom tomorrow," Izuku stated, slipping a hand onto Riku's forehead feeling it was of normal temperature.

"If you think you're feeling better you can go to school with Hiro and I."

Riku shrugged before he nodded his petite head, "I feel fine."

He then looked to Izuku all serious-like, "Honest."

Izuku giggled, as he allowed the both of them to scurry along into Riku's room.

Into Katsuki's room, he stared at the black centurion card that laid readily available for his usage in the duration Katsuki was gone.

It felt weird to use someone else's money, and as Izuku had been thinking about the multiple allowances Katsuki had granted him.

Too much.

He had to repay him back.

Wearily, he stretched, heading over to the neatened pile of clothing that was given to him on the first day as he pulled out a matching set of black satin shorts with a tank top.
