XVI: Good Graces

Third POV

"Work it! Work it! Excellent." A masculine voice cheered, taking multiple wide frame shots of his subject, "Beautiful, just beautiful!"

Mr.Taneo Tokuda, the lead photographer of the M&M Bakugo Fashion company stared in awe at the lead model for the upcoming anniversary shoot.

He then gave her a thumbs up and let his camera set around his neck, "We're all good here, Miss Tokage."

"Finally!" Setsuna hummed, as she snapped her finger and Komori, her best friend and confidant ran towards her with a towel and water bottle, "Thank you."

She gently dabbed her forehead with the dark, company branded towel before looking over to the other computer that automatically had the recent photos uploaded.

Her eyes wandered over to Mr.Tokuda, who was beginning to splice and do the beginner edits for some of the images that got blurred or messy.

"Hey Kinoko, isn't he the one that's going to do most of the photography for the event?" Setsuna quietly inquired, turning over to the short brunette woman.

"I think so, I overheard Mrs.Bakugo talk about using him and one other person." Komori nodded, with a hint of hesitant in her tone, "How come, you wanna know?"

"Then he probably knows whose on the pre-guest list." Setsuna muttered under her breath, straightening herself out before strutting over to him, "Hey, Mr.Tokuda-!"

The blue eyed alpha turned over to her, that same worn out smile still on his face, "Yes, Miss Tokage? How may I assist?"

"Just wondering by any chance of you were going to be at the M&M Bakugo sponsored anniversary event?" She started, "Or if I was going to be in attendance?"

"Mrs.Bakugo always talks to the actual event setup leads and not necessarily the models, so I can't help but be curious..."

He scratched his hair, removing the camera from his neck, "Ah, right, the event."

He then stopped smiling as his eyes wandered, "She and Mr.Bakugo just came back and said that they want to wait before they do this because remember this is the tenth anniversary and they want to have their actual son involved in the planning, so as for everything else I do know, just not the models in attendance."

He patted her shoulder, flicking away an extra piece of glitter, "But, if I were you I wouldn't stress too much, seeing as how your the Dam of their grandson and top model, so it's an automatic yes you'd be there."

"I think even Mr.Bakugo and Mrs.Bakugo were thinking of including your pup to draw more eyeballs. The family approach is all in nowadays." Mr.Tokuda chuckled, as he then turned away and went to the official editing room.

Setsuna just stared ahead, processing what was said.

That's when she heard another voice.

Itsuka Kendo.

The second lead model.

"Great work out there," Kendo gently fist bumped Setsuna's shoulder, "Also I couldn't help, but overhear what he said,"
