𝕯arlene slowly enters in the living room, one hand rested on her lower back and the other running her damp hair back.
A smile spreads across her face when her eyes catch sight of Harry busily moving around the open plan kitchen, Ruby scuttling by his feet as he shushes her and tries to get her to leave the kitchen area.
He looks up at the sound of her shuffling inside and smiles warmly, immediately crossing the room to affectionately plant his lips on hers.
She kisses him back smiling through the kiss as his hand gently holds the back of her head, tangling his fingers in her damp hair.
"Had a good shower?", he murmurs against her lips.
She sighs quietly tipping her head back.
"She's kicking a little too much now. I'm sick of it".
Harry laughs, shaking his head as he steps back.
"Up until a few days ago, you were worried she'd turn out to be the laziest baby in the world", he raises a brow.
She shrugs rubbing her belly, "People change, Harry".
His lips tip up.
"So they say".
He drops to his knees, carefully pulling up the hem of the large sweatshirt she's wearing to reveal the growing bump.
His lips meet her belly, a soft warm touch of his breath peppering her skin while he places a happy kiss over her bump.
Over their baby.
She smiles down at him. His head pulling back with a slight shake, eyes twinkling and gaze firm on the sight of his little girl housed inside his favourite human being.
"Don't give mummy too much trouble, bubba. She's already doing such a good job at taking care of you, maybe hold off a little on the football practice".
A chuckle makes its way past her lips earning his undivided attention, he grins caressing the bump before standing up to his full height and pressing his lips to her forehead.
"I went through the list of names you sent me".
"Hmm? And?", she asks tilting her head.
He rubs the back of his head, "I feel like Cecilia's a cute option".
She perks a brow.
"Out of all of them?".
"Sort of, yeah".
Darlene purses her lips, her hand coming down to squeeze his bicep.
"We'll have to think about it, y'know keep our options open".
