Rathore Mansion was weighed down heavily with grief for the past one week.
The Empty Bed of 2 of its Kids, their Toys and Clothes and Food Bowls and Medicines, tugged at the heartstrings of all its members.
Chhotu had just slept in exhaustion after he had cried His heart out.
Imlie whimpered in hushed sobs that increased in intensity as the one who shared the same degree of loss as Her, joined Her to be Her support and in turn, be supported.
Aryan.
They had both lost their 2 elder kids in the span of a week.
Cheeku had left first.
Aryan remembered him and Chhotu wheeling Cheeku and Mirchi in a bandwagon 2 Weeks back, around Juhu Beach, as Imlie walked in front, talking animatedly to them.
Aryan had seen through Her pretense very well then.
So had Cheeku and Mirchi.
She had talked a mile a minute, and shifted her gaze to several points far too many times, so that the Tears would Not fall.
They had Not cared a damn for the weird stares that some People had thrown them.
'Cause this would be the Final Trip that they went on, with their Cheeku and Mirchi, as per the Vet's Diagnosis.
One Week Later, Cheeku had crossed the Rainbow Bridge over to the Other Side, in their midst, surrounded by His entire Family.
He was so Loved.
Mirchi had gone entirely quiet then, and had spent the last week around Cheeku's Grave, hugging the Earth on it to feel Her Companion.
Until Yesterday .....
Chhotu had found Mirchi immobile on Cheeku's Grave and had alerted the House.
She was so Loved.
Strangled sobs escaped Aryan amidst Imlie's cries, as they rested against each other, their pains resonating.
The Grief echoed in the Home and their Hearts, as 2 of its Beloved Children left behind sweet memories of goofy smiles, warm cuddles and happy playtimes, and waited for all of them across the Rainbow Bridge.
A part of the Human Heart remained unawakened if it Never Loved an Animal, if it was Never Loved by an Animal.
