After today's race, I knew it hit Lando hard it hadn't been doing too well this season and I could see it in his eyes how disappointed he was. I knew I would get into trouble for not taking photos of Lando but just how he was looking right now it was best not to take any,

Once I had finished taking photos of Oscar on the podium, I quickly walked over to Lando's driver's room where I could hear the faint sobs leaving his mouth I swear my heart broke at that moment. I knocked on the door to signal to Lando that someone was at the door and made my way into the room.

I opened my arms for Lando and with a warm smile he slowly came into my open arms, "I feel like I'm letting the team down and I'm doing so shit this season" Lando cried "Stop talking yourself down, babe. You're amazing." I cooed and I ran my hands up and down his back

"no, I'm not y/n, it's all over Twitter about how bad I'm doing and I just can't" He cried harder my heart shattered, it was like Jack's rookie season all over again which he spent ages crying into my arms,

"You're being too hard on yourself," I said softly, my thumb tracing small circles on the back of his hand. "You're one of the best drivers out there, Lando. Everyone makes mistakes, it's how we learn and grow from them that matters."

He let out a weary sigh, his shoulders slumping slightly as he leaned back against the cushions. "I know, but... I can't help but feel like I could be doing so much better. I want to win, to prove myself on the track."

I could hear the frustration in his voice, the longing for validation, for that elusive taste of victory that always seemed just out of reach. But to me, he didn't need a trophy to prove his worth. He was already a champion in my eyes.

"You will, Lando. I believe in you," I whispered, my voice filled with unwavering conviction. "You have so much talent, so much determination. Nothing can stand in your way if you set your mind to it."

"Do you really mean that?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Of course, I do," I replied, meeting his gaze with a smile. "You're capable of achieving anything you set your mind to, Lando. Never doubt that."

A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips, a flicker of hope shining in his eyes. In that moment, I knew that he would find the strength to rise above his doubts, to push past his fears and to chase his dreams with unwavering determination.

"Thank you," he said softly, squeezing my hand gently. "I needed to hear that."

I leaned in, pressing a tender kiss to his forehead.
