Lando and I walked hand in hand up to my childhood home, Lando had just finished the F1 2023 season so we thought it would be a good time to go see my family considering my brothers Jack, Luke, and Quinn were all home which is a rare occasion that all 4 of us would be home at the same time since Jack, Luke, and Quinn were all in the NHL and I was a social media person for the F1 team Mclearn

we all sat outside near the fire like old times Lando and I on one couch, Jack and Quinn on the other and Luke sitting on the floor because he wasn't fast enough. I couldn't help but shiver as the cold wind hit my body "Here, let me hold you. You look cold," Lando said softly, wrapping his arm around me and pulling me close.

I couldn't help but blush feeling warm and safe in Lando's arms. Luke glanced over at us and gave Lando and me both a look "Don't worry about Y/N. She's tough as nails. She grew up playing hockey with us," Luke Spoke with a smirk. Quinn chimed in, "Yeah, she's practically immune to the cold."

I rolled my eyes at their antics, but couldn't help but feel grateful for their presence. They were always there to lighten the mood, no matter the situation. Lando took it all in stride, laughing along with them as he wrapped his arm around my waist protectively. "Well, I still think she could use a little extra warmth," he said, shooting me a playful wink.

I blushed at his words, feeling a rush of affection for him. Despite being thousands of miles away from home, he always managed to make me feel safe and loved.
