As Catra began to open her eyes, she was met with four piercing green ones glaring at her from above. Sitting on his throne, Horde Prime lifted her face with his foot.
"The Etherian ship, has changed course." Prime's voice immediately make Catra try to stand up, to run, to do anything to get away from him, but as she tried to stand up, she felt weight pressing on her shoulders, keeping her in a kneeling position. She struggled against them as Prime began to speak,
"Little Sister. You were beloved in my sight, I treated you like royalty and this is how you repay me? By getting rid of our guest?" Prime uncrossed his legs and stood up as he began to walk towards her.
He grabbed her face and watched as Catra stared at him, trying to mask the fear in her face, but it was no use, after all he could sense fear from a mile away. Catra watched as he touched her forehead, she winced from pain as he touched the large cut, realising her head had been bleeding.
"Hmm, get her cleaned up, and cut that horrible mane, it will only get in the way." Prime ordered. Catra's mane was something she took pride in, it was only thing in her control while she was working for Hordak. She hadn't cut since she was a little girl, Shadow Weaver always hated it, but that was just another reason to keep it.
Catra felt two clones grab her by the arms and lift her up, she kicked her legs, trying to wiggle free of their grip, but it was no use, they had immense strength, as she was carried out of the throne room, she saw Horde Prime grinning at her through the door. She snarled at him before another clone closed the door.
The clones carried her all the way to a large room, which was quite empty except for a table and some shelves filled with medical supplies. The clones carried her over to the table and as they got closer, Catra could make out belt-like restraints that came out from the table. She began to kick her legs again in an another failed escape attempt. When they arrived at the table, the clones laid her down on the table and began to clasp the restraints over her wrists and ankles, she tried to fight again, but again, it was no use, she didn't know why she still tried, probably out of fear.
"Let me out!" She yelled at one of the clones.
"These restraints are only to make sure you do not run away or attack us while we get you cleaned up, Little Sister."
God how she hated being called that, it made her feel... weird inside, she never wanted to be called that ever again. But since she told Adora not to come back for her, it seems like it'll be her new name for a long time.
She watched the other clone grab some medical supply off the shelf, she couldn't exactly make out what it was, she wouldn't know anyways, the only medical supplies they had in the Fright Zone were bandages. The clone walked towards her again, putting some of the liquid onto a cloth, as they dabbed it on her forehead, she winced in pain. Once he had finished, he put a large bandage over her cut and the clone on her right began to remove her restraints, but only on her wrists, they then sat her up while one clone grabbed a pair of scissors from the shelves while the other held her hands together so she couldn't scratch them.
"No no no stop! Please!" Catra tried to plead with the clones, but they showed no emotion or remorse for what they were about to do. Catra watched as her prized tufts of hair began to gather on the table behind her. She knew there was no point trying to fight against the clones, she had already tried, all it did was tire her out. She just sat as the tears poured down her face.
Once the clone had finished chopping off all her mane, they undid the rest of her restraints and lifted her up again, Catra didn't even look up until they left the room, she didn't take her eyes off the mess of hair that lay on the table, she felt so... bare without her mane. Her neck was exposed for the first time in years, she could feel the cold air on her newly exposed skin, it felt so wrong.
As Catra studied the walls and turns they made, she figured out where they were going quite quickly, Horde Primes holding cell, she wasn't surprised. She assumed she would be sent there when she betrayed Horde Prime. As they neared the cell, memories of the hours earlier, her and Glimmer sitting chatting about Etheria, Adora and whatever, the slight argument they had had in that very cell that she was about to be thrown in.
She was quickly snapped out of her thoughts as she felt herself hit the cold metal floor, as she looked up through the translucent forcefield, one of the clones began to speak,
"Horde Prime would like you to get some rest, he wishes to speak with you in the morning." The clone then lifted his hand and closed the force field completely. Catra stood up, taking a deep breath in, realising it still smelled off Sparkles. She began to stare at herself in the green, now transparent, forcefield. She touched her new neck-legnth hair, and began to attempt to style it how she wanted, to regain some of the control she had once had.
Once her hair had become somewhat to her liking, she walked over to the bed.
As she lay down, she felt how it was almost the same as the ones in the Fright Zone, just a bit bigger, which, for some reason, gave her a slight sense of comfort. Catra didn't like change much. That's why she was so distraught when Adora left, and Scorpia, and Double Trouble, even though he betrayed her before they left, Catra knew why Scorpia and Adora had left, but they just used her for fun and cash. She began to get lost in her thoughts thinking about how she had betrayed the only person (person? thing? I srsly don't know what he is tbh) who hadn't left her, but Glimmer said he would get rid of her, so did she really betray him? Had she become what she feared all those years ago? And then the realization hit that she was alone again, but she didnt really care at this point, it had happened too many times for her to even care anymore. Before she could think too deep into it, she felt herself beginning to drift off to sleep. As she drifted off, she felt herself begin to dream....
