JACAERYS VELARYON II
Jacaerys woke up to silence, for the first time in years, since he could remember he was always woken up by his little brothers. They would crawl all over him until he gave them all his attention. Lucerys was always the most clingy of the children. Ever since he took Aemond's eye he was ridiculed with guilt.
Jacaerys remembers one night after the incident when he climbed into Jacaery's bed at night. Tears fell on his face and he apologized to Jacaerys. Jacaerys just held his little brother as he sobbed.
Jace looked around the quiet and empty room. The air was cold and he felt out of place in this room. He missed the attention his brothers would give him, even if it did annoy him in the moment.
Jacaerys pulled the covers off himself and went over to the pile of clothes the servants had brought him. The clothes were mainly all blue and white which Jacaerys did not mind having to wear the colours of House Arryn.
Jacaerys placed the blue tunic over his head. The fabric wrapped itself around his chest, his small but firm muscles on display. He then put the rest of the clothing on, including a dark blue cloak that sat nicely on his shoulders, and dropped to his feet. He picked up the small crown and fitted it on his head.
After a bit of strolling through the castle's corridors, Jacaerys found Jeyne Arryn who was talking to her son while a redhead woman brushed Jeyne's hair.
Harrold turned to see the prince, he bowed his head and smile, "My prince."
Jacaerys reciprocated the bow, "My lord, My lady."
Lady Jeyne stopped the redhead from brushing her black hair. She then stood up and straightened her clothing making herself look more presentable. She turned to the redhead woman.
"Jessamyn could you give us a moment," Jeyne asked.
"Of course my lady." She smiled and walked past Jacaerys out of the room.
"I am guessing you are ready to visit Runnestone, My prince." She raised a goblet of wine to her lips and sipped.
"Yes, my lady. I am prepared to make up for my family's mistakes." The prince twirled the ring on his finger.
Harry stepped forward towards his sword which was leaning against the wall, he pick the sword up and fitted it in his scabbard.
"We should get going, we can eat on our way down to Runnestone."
Harrold patted the prince's arm as he walked past. The back of his hair bobbed up and down with each step the boy took. Jacaerys turned to follow the boy. Using larger strides than usual to catch up to him.
The two made their way down the Eyrie and at the bottom. It was much quieter down at the bottom, not many people were down there aside from the stable boys who were grooming the horses.
Harrold greeted each of the stable boys, he asked how their days were just making small talk with them. Jacaerys liked that about Harry. He was friendly and sociable.
"I am going to go get us some horses," Harry said.
"Wouldn't it take us a like more than twelve hours? By horse." The prince asked if he was not planning on traveling for a couple of hours.
"Well, do you have a better idea?" He questioned.
"I have a dragon," Jace said.
Harrold cracked up. His smile grew wide.
"I'm being serious." Jace looked at Harry. He was being one hundred percent serious and as Harrold realized this his face began to drop the amusement it once held.
