Baby's POV
"Here you go Deliah", I say as I hand her a cookie. "Now, let's talk about this nightmare of yours."
"Oh, it's fine Baby. I've um... already forgotten about it."
"Deliah, come on. Are you worried I'm gonna get mad?"
"Well, it's just a dream about you're past, so I just..."
"It is!"
Deliah grabs my hand. "Come on, why can't we just talk and play like we used to? You've been in such a funk lately. I just... really miss you", Deliah says in tears.
I can feel Elizabeth looming over me, smiling sinisterly. My eyes change to blue. "I can't! Not when you're so close to figuring it out."
"Figuring out... what? Come on, Baby! Just get it over with and tell me. You can't keep it from me forever."
"Dammit! I am not losing you Deliah. Do you want our friendship to go up in flames?"
"What! No, I-"
"Well, don't worry, because I'm not letting that happen. Because guess what? I'm never letting you go. Never! Even if you hate me. NEVER!"
Deliah looks at me horrified, tears are streaming down her face. My eyes fade back to green. "Wait a second. I didn't mean it like that-"
"Get away from her" Nick shouts. I turn around to see him swing a baseball bat right at my face. He hits me and I fall to the ground. My lower left faceplate falls right onto the floor. Even though I'm a little dazed, I quickly stand up. I walk towards Nick, who is blocking Deliah behind him.
"You're going to pay for that, Nick."
Deliah runs between us. "Hey guys, can't we just talk about this over cookies? Please."
"He hit me!"
"Well, you were being pretty creepy."
"Come on Deliah, there's something very wrong with her."
"BITCH! I'm right here. I can hear every word coming out of your mouth."
"Relax, Baby." Deliah says while coming between us. "She just has some anger issues, Dad. Let's just go into the living room and talk about this, okay?"
"You're lucky I don't feel pain anymore, Nicholas. I would've killed you right on the spot."
"Anymore?" Nick says confused. "You once felt pain, Ms. animatronic robot."
"Ugh, you know what I mean."
"We all walk into the living room. Nick and Deliah sit on the couch while I stand next to them."
"You want to know what I think about her", Nick asks Deliah.
"Go on. Tell us. I DARE YOU..."
"I don't think she's who she says she is. I think she's hiding something big. There's something very evil about her. And no, I don't think she's actually your friend."
I'm so sick of this. "Alright, alright, Nicky. Let's talk, ALONE."
"What, why?" Deliah asks.
"Just go to your room sweetie. I'll be there in a second to tuck you back in, I promise."
"So what do you want? Nick asks,"
"I don't think I've made this message clear to you, Nick. Deliah is my friend. And I'm never giving her up! I know I'm not the best influence on her but I'm trying. I'm trying to be good for the first person who's cared about me in forever. So please, just let me stay. I'm... sorry."
