Baby's POV

"You weren't really studying today were you Deliah?", I ask.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm not stupid Deliah, I know you were hanging out with Harry today. I watched you walk over towards his house."

"Ellie lives that way too Baby", come on. Deliah looks at me sadly. "why can't you just trust me?"

"Because I know you're lying. You didn't just happen to run into Harry. You went out of your way to see him. I just don't understand why you talk to him when you have me."

"Why do you have to be such a jerk Baby? Why..."Deliah starts to get teary, "Why won't you believe me?"

Even though I'm mad about her lying, seeing her like this really hurts me. "Fine, look I'm sorry Dels. I believe you." Deliah is clearly still upset. "Come on, don't get all grumpy on me, let's do something fun today."

"Like what?"

"I don't know, something like... hide and seek."

Deliah looks at me confused. "Isn't that just for little kids?"

"Not when you play with a seven-foot-tall animatronic it's not. Come on, I promise you'll have fun."

"I'm not sure."

"Come on Dels, here's an idea. If you can hide from me for ten minutes, I'll bake you some cookies. How does that sound?"

"Really, sure", Deliah says with a smile.

"Okay then, I'll count to sixty, so you have until then to hide, alright?"

Even if I find her in time, I'll still probably bake her some cookies. I guess I really upset her, so hopefully this will cheer her up. I cover my eyes and begin to count to sixty.

"-58,59,60, ready or not hear I come Deliah!"

I begin to make my way around the house. There are only so many places she can hide here, yet I still see no sign of her. As I make my way upstairs, I notice the red-haired girl following me.

"Can you just go away Elizabeth? I'm trying to play a game with Deliah."

"Are you going to scare her?"

"Of course I am. That is my job after all", I say jokingly.

"Yeah, we'll just see how that works out for you."

I don't get why she thinks she knows better than me. We're literally the same person.

I go into Deliah's room and see no sign of her. I walk back into the hallway to listen for sounds. I swear I can hear movement coming from the bathroom. I walk in there, but I don't see her anywhere. I notice the shower curtains pulled back. "Really Deliah, you make this too easy."

"AHA!" I shout as I pull back the curtain. Only for Deliah not to be there.

I hear giggling noises coming from the closet. I decide that this is my chance to finally scare her. She never jumps when I sneak up on her anymore. I close the bathroom door and hop into the shower so she thinks I left. After a few seconds, she begins to sneak out of the closet. I jump out of the shower.

"HISS! I found you! Any you know what that means..."

Deliah cowers. "No... please."

"No cookies for you Deliah. Nyahahahahaha!!!"

I notice that Deliah looks terrified and has started to cry. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"It's just- I've been having weird nightmares recently, and... I don't know... I thought you were actually gonna hurt me."
