The inside of a classroom. A very poorly run school as well. The clock is still ticking. A young brown-skinned boy looked at his phone while the paper was being thrown and Ms. Whitlock was trying her best to get control of the class. The teacher approached him. Jordan was looking at the news. The Red Ghost was revealed. Every channel was talking about it, especially every channel in Washington D.C.

Jordan's teacher put a packet on his desk. Jordan looked up through the blinds to life that were his dreadlocks. Jordan's teacher handed him a huge packet with about three to four pages.

"Jordan, it's been a joy teaching you. But we're moving you to a different school district!" said Ms. Whitlock as she scratched her nose. "You work so hard. Your grades are incredible. You deserve to be in a place where you can take advanced classes and all your other teachers agree," she said.

"But I love it here, kind of," said Jordan.

"Even if you did love it here, Mr. King, it's only a matter of time till they turn this filthy place into a military academy just to give the kids some structure," she said.

"Well, what school are they sending me to?" he asked.

"Sterling Johnson," she said.

The red-haired freckled hype-beast shouted with aggression as he eavesdropped on the conversation.

"You can't go to nerd academy, who am I going to cheat off of?" he said.

"Anthony, for the love of God," Ms. Whitlock hushed him.

Jordan didn't know what to think. He was happier and filled with pride. He didn't think he could do it. He didn't think he'd ever leave that school. Ever make it. But he could.

Jordan had a big smile. When he left school that day he looked like a ray of sunshine. He figured out where Red Ghost's house was and was tracking it on his phone. It was an incredibly long walk and his feet began to ache hard while he was approaching. But eventually, Jordan saw the big house. Hidden in the woods.

Jordan touched his foot, feeling the pain of his travels. He then laughed it off and knocked on the door. Awkwardly looking around while waiting for Red Ghost to answer.

Jordan heard a bunch of weird noises coming from inside. Seemingly a bunch of things were being knocked over and hitting the ground. Sounded like the inside was going to be a mess. The Red Ghost opened the door. He looked at Jordan and welcomed him.

"Hey Jordan, ready to become a superhero," said Red Ghost.

Red Ghost motioned for Jordan to walk inside. It had a haunted filthy cobwebs vibe but it was also incredibly spacious.

"That's not exactly what I had in mind," said Jordan.

"Trust me," said Red Ghost.

"Should I... after all we just met yesterday?" said Jordan seriously questioning his decision.

"Well you're only human... and you're going to have to face... well... people like me," said Red Ghost.

Jordan took in the atmosphere for a second. Being inside a haunted mansion was getting to him. He looked in awe for a second.

"I think I can manage," said Jordan, turning his head and smirking at Red Ghost.

"So do I kid, otherwise I wouldn't have brought you over here. But first things first you need a suit." the Ghost said in response.

"A superhero suit, listen I'm an absolute nerd, but isn't that a little too thematic," said Jordan.

"Well firstly to hide your identity so these people or anyone else won't come for your family, especially the news. Secondly to protect you from any hits you may take. And lastly, in this life, you'd be surprised how many points you get for style. Also, I don't think that your mom and dad would approve at all!" said Red Ghost.

"Dad, I don't know what my dad would approve of," said Jordan.

"Did he pass away?" said Red Ghost awkwardly approaching him, putting his hand on Jordan's shoulder.

"He walked out on my mom. Maybe he's dead, maybe he has another family somewhere out there. I really only know him by name alone," Jordan's lip quivered as he forced back his tears.

"You're an awesome kid, if he didn't get to raise you...that's his loss," said Red Ghost, attempting to cheer him up.

"Thanks," Jordan said. "Exactly what am I going to make this super suit out of?".

"Well a whole perk of this thing is that the basement is a lab," said Red Ghost. "There should be plenty of fabric and raw materials in there... I think?" said Red Ghost.

Jordan walked to the lab. Fidgeting with his hoodie. The lab was nice and ergonomic. Easily the nicest part of his house. He saw a rollie chair and slid across the room. It was bigger than most of his classrooms.

He started looking at all the raw materials around the lab. Different samples of things. His eyes glowed and widened like he had just found a treasure chest. He seemed so excited.

Red Ghost stayed where he was. Nothing compelled him to move. He simply sat there listening to the loud sounds from the basement. It seemed like things were being knocked over. He heard loud thumps and even the sound of fire.

"Everything's alright down there!" he yelled from afar.

"Is there any more black fabric!" said Jordan yelling to try and get the sound to stretch.

Jordan made his way and poked his head through the latch on the wooden floor to get to the basement. Jordan revealed his face.

"Sorry, I might have purple," said Red Ghost.

"It doesn't fit my concept. But I guess that's not important. I only have to look so badass," said Jordan. "Can I ask you a question? Why can you turn invisible?".

"I don't know. I'm a Ghost," said Red Ghost.

"Wait a second, being invisible is just being hard to see. Like camouflage, blending in with your environment," said Jordan.

Jordan looked out at a window. Very high up near the ceiling. He seemed impressed with his idea. "It shouldn't be impossible to make the suit reflective. But I can't wear mirrors. Unless cameras!" said Jordan going through the calculations.

"Ghost, I need everything electronic in this house!" said Jordan.

"You're kidding," said Red Ghost.

"Humor is not only subjective; sometimes it's layered, unironic, or blunt. I'm completely serious," said Jordan.

"You need a girlfriend... BADLY!!!" said Red Ghost.

Red Ghost was shocked by Jordan's intelligence and assertiveness. Hours passed as Red Ghost began sitting in the living area of his haunted home. Red Ghost looked around and he didn't see Jordan for a while.

"Surprise," said Jordan as he arrived right in front of Red Ghost looking different. He figured out how to go invisible.

His suit had a black mask. The torso was a unique pseudo-military mix of purple and black he had on black combat boots. His pants were padded and also black. Both of his metal gauntlets were black. His left sleeve was purple. His eyes were red. He had a yellow circle mimicking a pupil.

It mimicked the motion of his eye. The robotic pupils traveled back and forth. Left to right. He hit the side of his head and they repositioned themselves. Then there was a loud sound of fire. Like a rocket exploding. Jordan had a jetpack attached to his back. He then landed back down and detached it from his back. He could control it like a drone.

"Say hello to Black Ghost!" said Jordan. He had finally picked a name for the superhero he would become.
