                                                        Deirys Targaryen (17 years old.)

Deirys took another bite of her omelet, without looking up. Her father was sitting at the head of the table, her mother was sitting to his right, and none of them had said anything. While had mother had tried speaking to her when she first walked in, she had given up after Deirys kept giving her one-word answers. Her father had not talked to her much since he had found her in bed with Aemond two weeks ago. At first, there had been a lot of yelling on his part, she had not said anything, and he wouldn't listen to her. The last thing he had said to her was that she was grounded until she gained his trust back. Her mother had tried to run interference between her father and her, but it had gotten her nowhere. She was so tired of being locked inside this house, she had not been able to see Aemond since he had left. They had been texting every day, but not been able to meet. Her father was watching her like a hawk, he refused to let her out of his sight unless she was in school.
"Do you have any projects due this month?" Her mother gave her a nervous smile.
"Yes," Deirys took another bite of her omelet, chewing slowly. "I will meet with Serena after school today, we are both supposed to work on the project together."
"I hope you are meeting with her here." Deirys looked at her father, trying not to let her frustration show. "You are still grounded and not allowed anywhere unless your mother or I are with you. If you and Serena need to work on a project you both can work here."
"We have already agreed to meet at her house." She put down her fork, crossed her hands, and looked at her father. "Everything we need is at her house, it makes no sense to move everything here."
"I don't care if it doesn't make sense, you can work here, or you won't be working together at all." Daemon took a sip of his coffee, looking directly at her. "You know you are grounded."
"How long are you planning to treat me like a small child?" Now she was truly frustrated, she couldn't take this anymore. "I have been locked in this house for the past two weeks. I have not gone anywhere but school."
"Maybe you have forgotten why you are in this situation?" Daemon's stare grew hard. "You lied to us for months."
"Yes, and with good reason judging by the way you are acting." Deirys's voice was a little louder than before and she saw her mother straightening in her chair from the corner of her eye. "You are acting like I committed a crime like I did something horrible."
"Because you did something horrible." Her father leaned forward. "You lied to us for months and then we come home to find you in bed with your uncle."
"Daemon." Rhaenyra was looking at her husband, but her father did not look bothered. "I believe that is enough."
"No, she doesn't seem to understand what she has done." Daemon glared at her, he looked pissed. "How were you expecting us to act?"
"Not like this." Deirys stood up. "If someone should be able to understand, it would be you."
"Don't put that on me." Her father also stood up, he was still glaring at her. "It doesn't matter what I have done in my life, that has nothing to do with you or with what you did. You are my underage daughter, my job is to protect you."
"Protect me from what?" Deirys would have felt bad for yelling, but she was so frustrated. "I love Aemond and you won't be able to stop that."
"You are a child, you don't know what you are feeling." Her father was also yelling, his face was red. "You will not see him anymore."
"Or what?" This time her voice was calm.
"Don't test me Deirys." Her father moved closer to her and Deirys saw her mother move towards her. "You won't like what happens."
"I won't?" Deirys saw Daemon's eyes narrow, he did not like being confronted. "What will you do? Ground me again?"
"If you disobey again, I will take away your car. I will have a driver take you to and from school." Deirys felt rage fill her entire body. "I will also take away your phone and your laptop. You won't be able to speak to anyone."
"You can't.." Her father walked away before she finish speaking. Tears of frustration filled her eyes. Her mother approached her, running a hand over her head. "He will never listen to me."
"Oh, sweetheart, just give him some time." Rhaenyra kissed her forehead. "He is still trying to process that you are not a child any longer. Even the previous guys you dated barely got two dates with you before you stopped seeing them. The fact that he found you in bed with Aemond, completely naked didn't help."
"I know the way you both found out was not the best. I still can't believe someone sent you a text telling you about Aemond and me."
"I will talk to your father about this and try to fix things." Her mother gave her a hug, which she couldn't help but return. "Just give me some time to work on him, please."
"I don't know how much longer I will be able to stand this." She pulled away from her mother. "I feel like a prisoner, and I miss Aemond. I haven't been able to see him in two weeks."
"At least you know that he is doing well." Rhaenyra smiled at the surprise on her face. "I know you two have been talking. I'm sorry you can't see him right now, but just hold on for a little longer."
Her mother kissed her forehead, before walking away. Deirys shook her head, grabbing her backpack she walked out of the house. She hated that it had come to this, she didn't like being at odds with her parents. She had never fought with them before, at least, not like this. Her father refused to listen to anything she had to say, they had barely spoken in two weeks. Her house felt like a bomb, ready to detonate at any moment. All the happiness and laughter were completely gone, even Rhaelys knew there was something wrong. Her parents refused to tell her sister what had happened, they didn't want her to be distracted while she was at school. But her sister was not stupid and kept asking her. Deirys needed to find a way to see Aemond.
