After the bell rang I was still as nervous as I was before. Me and Emma were outsiders until now. The most popular girl in school walked up to us. She was so pretty with her curled blonde hair and perfect sapphire eyes. Everyone within a 10k radius practically bowed down to her. Her name was Cleo and her physio minions Kate and Adrianna.
"Hey Veronica!" She said with the most sarcastic voice. How did she even know my name? Ohh I remember. From middle school.
" Hey cleo."
" So u and your loser friend are invited to my "welcome back to school party!" Me and Emma both stared at eachother in complete silence. I felt like it would never end.
" Sounds great!" Emma said. Cleo gave us the invitations and walked off in her devilish red high heels.
" Emma! Why did u say that!" I tried to whisper.
" Hey we are not popular. Don't u understand. Cleo invited us and she does seem to remember us from 6th grade. So why not?"
I grabbed her arm and we headed out the door.
