My heart was racing... thump... thump... one minute passed... then two. I was waiting for Jackson. We were going to have our first date today. I couldn't wait. I felt like everything was going by so quickly. Why did this feel too easy? Maybe I'm just paranoid .
A few minutes later Jackson knocked on the front door. "Hey open up beautiful." He said. My heart felt like it was about to explode. I felt amazing. "Coming" I whispered. I grabbed my jacket and opened the door to find him staring at me. He looked shocked.
I couldn't stop laughing and he just grabbed my hand and walked me to the car. It was nice. His car was amazing. A perfect black mustang. It suited him.
We went to a expensive hotel and the restaurant was beautiful. The whole night we couldn't stop staring into each others eyes. I was so happy.
And then came the bad part. Cleo was sitting at the table right next to us. " aww Jackson taking ur new girlfriend to where we had our first date."she laughed. I felt humiliated. I felt like second choice. Was it wrong to date him so soon?
"Cleo she's special to me and she deserves to be here. It doesn't matter whether our first date was here because our relationship was worthless. " Jackson held my hand while he said that. I felt better.
"Ur such a dumbass Jackson. You obviously played me like ur playing her right now. She doesn't deserve you. No one does. She just wants you because your the leftovers on my dinner plate. She just wants to get to me" I couldn't believe her. She actually thinks that I want what's hers. I don't want anything of hers.
I've liked Jackson for a long time. Ugh I just wanted to leave. So I did, I got up and walked out the door. "Cleo stay the hell away from me and leave Vic alone. "He got up from his chair and walked off in anger.
I waited outside. It felt like an eternity. "Victoria I'm so sorry. I didn't know she would be there."I could feel his sadness through those deep eyes. I get lost in them everything time."Jackson it's not your fault. I...I don't know what to say except that I still had a wonderful time with you." Jackson stared at me and smiled. He leaned towards me and I could hardly move.
He kissed my cheek and said "I'm glad you did." I wanted to kiss him but I just sat there frozen in silence. He was so intriguing. "I should take you home now. Come on Vic." I hugged him and we stood there in each others arms not wanting to let go.
