After me and Emma bought our dresses we went home to do our makeup; and hair.
"Should I curl my hair Em?"
"Nah it's already short as it is, but maybe u should."
"Make up your mind!" We both started laughing.
It was already 6:00 and we were more ready than we ever will be.
The party started at 8:00 and we watched some tv in the time that we had.
"Girls! Let's go! You're going to be late!" My mom yelled. It soon became 7:30.
"Coming!" I yelled back as me and Em were putting on our finishing touches.
As soon as we got to the party, I thought I was going to faint.there were people in every direction. I skimmed my eyes across the crowd when there Cleo and Jackson were kissing as usual! They have been dating back and forth.
"Em let's go" I said in a serious tone.
"Not yet! We're here to party! I need to find Mark!" As soon as she said Mark she ran away looking for him. I was all alone.
I saw Cleo and Jackson stop there make out session. He started walking over to me! Me!
"Hey, I didn't know u would be here." His voice was so cute.
"Same goes for you and I see u and Cleo are "doing great!" I exaggerated.
"Yeah..." he was saying somthing until that... that jealous bitch Cleo stopped by.
"Hey sweet heart! Why don't u come hang with me instead of that loser."She wrapped her arms slowly around his neck. Her long red acrylic nails clinged to his neck. She knew that I liked him.
"Cleo! What's wrong with u! She's not a loser!" He started taking her arms off him. I felt like he was defending me. He was defending me.
"Fine any other real man would gladly like to be with me. Well I'll see u later because you come right back to me every time." They dated back and fourth for 3 years and he still didn't know how many times she's cheated on him.
"Cleo were done and this time it's forever." She walked off in anger and began searching for a new boy toy.
"Thx." I said in my shy voice.
"Sorry about that. Cleo just can't handle anything. Where were we?"
I started smiling. My smile was probably bigger than how I imagined it would be.
"Just talking"
Was this my chance...To finally be with Jackson? There's only one way to find out.
