Haven Pov

Nearing the tree, I saw it was guarded by a dragon. Funny though, I thought they were extinct. Good thing I have training for dragon battles. Getting closer, I pat the dragon on the head and it seems to be telling me to go on into the Greek place.

Doing as the dragon instructed, I walked under the arch feeling a strange force trying to push me out. Finally, after pushing against it, I was let in falling once more. Gravity seems to hate me today.

Looking up, my eyes landed on a perfect being. Perfect as in a pure heart and good intentions. This person could be an angel later on.

He reached his hand out for me to take, "Well, you want up or not?"

I just tilted my head, probably looking like an idiot. He just chuckled and pulled me up anyways. "So kid, come here often?"

I had to laugh a little at that. "Infact, no. I'm just um visiting uh....him," I said pointing to another boy with Italian charm.

He looked surprised, then smirked, "Then maybe you could introduce him to me."

Well, fudge. I don't even know him, wait there was something I learned on how to get to know people if only I could remember.

Nodding, I agreed, "No problem. Now who are you?"

He grinned an elfish grin, "I'm Leo Hot Stuff Valdez."

"Haven is my name from way up north, but you can call me......The Angel."

He gripped my hand, "Alrighty Angel, let's take you to di Angelo."

Nico Pov

Okay, so I was walking back from training with Percy, which I may mention was fun kicking his ass at. Anyway, I looked up about to play some music (I had the Stolls sneak in me an ipod) when some girl with Leo pointed at me. This will not be good, how will I hide now? Valdez is going to get it if she tries to get me to go with her back to that dumb place. No way in Hades (Sorry dad) am I going back.

Where to hide, where to go? Maybe I could go get Percy or ask Annabeth, but they won't understand. So I just sat on my bunk and waited for their arrival when a memory started tugging and pushing it's way to the top of my memories and I was enveloped in it.

~Flashback~

She was poking me, "Nico, let's go fly."

I groaned tired from the endless tests they took, "Go to sleep now Hay."

She pouted, "Then, let's run away."

That got me up, "Are you sure?"

She nodded, "I'll distract them, just run and I'll catch up."

So off she went but not before kissing my nose, "I will find you again."

I nodded and slipped on my shoes, waiting for her to distract them. Soon, I heard yelling and a code word spoken in Latin telling me to run before they caught me.

A knock on the door drew me back to reality.
