It all happened so fast.
It was going great for Ballister, he walked up to the stage.
Knelt in front of the queen.
He was initiated as a knight.
The queen handed him his sword.
Then disaster struck.
The handle of the sword opened. Revealing a kind of laser beam.
A laser that shot right at the queen.

Because it isn't that kind of kingdom.
And this isn't that kind of story.

Things they've been saying about Ballister for years since he had started training as just a kid was now becoming more vulgar.
