"Good morning, Elena" Stefan said to her walking over to her and Bonnie with Layla. "Good morning, Bonnie" Stefan said.

"Hey um I gotta find Caroline she's not answering her phone so see you guys" Bonnie said and left. "Bonnie wait" Elena said but Bonnie already left. "She's friendly" Layla said.

"She doesn't like me very much" Stefan said. "She doesn't know you she's my best friend she's just looking out for me but when she does, she will love you" Elena said.

"And obviously Layla too" Elena said and smiled at Layla. "Hey, what are you drinking" Elena asked seeing her Tumblr mug.

"Oh, um some special tea" Layla said. "Oh, maybe I can try it someday" Elena said.

"Yeah maybe" Layla said. "Here's what we're gonna do" Elena said getting an idea. "Are you and Layla free tonight" Elena asked. "Yes" Stefan said, and Layla looked at him.

"Excuse you how do you know I'm free I could be busy" Layla said. "I'll get you a new horse painting" Stefan said. "Okay I'm free" Layla said.

"Perfect dinner my house 8 o'clock you me Layla and Bonnie you two will spend some quality time and she'll get to see what a great guy you are mission accomplished" Elena said.

"Wait back up why do I have to go if this is about your best friend liking my brother" Layla asked.

"Thought it be a chance for us to know each other a bit better too I'd like to get to know my boyfriend's sister and hopefully my future friend" Elena said hopeful.

"You're lucky I love my brother and that I'm starting to like you you're not as bad as his last psycho ex was" Layla said. "Thanks, I think" Elena said and Layla smiled at her.

Suddenly a football and came at them and Stefan turned around catching it.

Stefan then threw it back and Tyler caught it nearly falling to the ground. Stefan, Elena, and Layla all then went into the school.

"That throw was insane I didn't know you played football" Elena said to Stefan. "He doesn't as much anymore" Layla said, "I used to, it was a long time ago" Stefan said.

"So why don't you try out for the team" Elena suggested. "Yeah, I don't think so" Stefan said.

"So, you don't like football" Elena asked. "Oh no he loves it he even once told me it was the honest sport in the world" Layla said.

"Thanks sis" Stefan said to her and Layla smiled sweetly at him.

"I think it's a great sport but, in this case, I don't think football likes me you saw Tyler over there and we both know how Matt feels" Stefan said.

"They don't know you to them your mysterious loner guy who only hangs around his sister wouldn't hurt to be part of make some friends" Elena said.

"Says the girl who spends her alone time writing in a cemetery" Stefan said. "Geh Stef didn't think you had it in you that's more something I say" Layla said.

"Hey, come on there's more to me than just gloomy graveyard girl there's a whole other Elena that you have yet to meet she was into everything very busy" Elena said.

"Well, I look forward to meeting her" Stefan said. "And when will that be" Stefan asked as the bell rung. "Soon she's working on it" Elena said.

"And I hope she doesn't talk in third person all the time" Layla said as she left with Stefan and Elena.
