Stefan went down to visit Damon in the cellar with Layla still sound asleep. "Where is my ring" Damon asked. "Won't be needing it anymore" Stefan said.
"Where's Layla" Damon asked. "Asleep you know she's not a morning person" Stefan said.
"How long have I been here" Damon asked. "Three days" Stefan said. "What are you doing" Damon asked.
"During the dark ages when a vampire's actions threatened to expose or bring harm upon the entire race, they would face judgement they sought to reeducate them rather than to punish them" Stefan said.
"You know what will happen if I don't feed on blood" Damon said.
"You'll grow weaker and weaker and eventually you won't be able to move or speak in a week your skin will desiccate and you'll mummify a living corpse unable to hurt anyone ever" Stefan said.
"So, what you're just gonna leave me in the basement forever" Damon asked.
"I've injected you with enough vervain to keep you weak once your circulation stops, I'll move you to the family crypt and then in 50 years we can reevaluate" Stefan said.
"I'm stronger than you think" Damon said. "You always have been but you're not stronger than the vervain and we both know it I'm sorry it didn't have to be this way" Stefan said and left.

Layla was looking for Damon having no such luck when she saw Stefan and went up to him.
"Hey Stef, have you seen our brother" Layla asked. "He's in the cellar" Stefan said.
"What why, Stefan did you put him down there" Layla asked.
"I had to; I couldn't let him hurt Elena; you remember her" Stefan said. "You two are friends right" Stefan asked.
"Yeah, we're friends and I guess I understand where you're coming from just promise me, we will bring him back soon even if it's centuries from now" Layla said and Stefan looked at her.
"We will I promise" Stefan said and Layla nodded.

Stefan saw Elena and Bonnie and went over to them with Layla. "Hey" Stefan said to Elena.
"Hey Elena" Layla said and Elena smiled at Layla. "Hey" Elena said.
"Hey uh you know I gotta go uh be somewhere right now" Bonnie said and left quickly. "Yeah you know what I'm gonna go too" Layla said and left.

Layla went with Stefan to Elena's and Stefan was making dinner when Elena came down and saw them. "Stefan, Layla" Elena said. "What are you doing here" Elena asked.
"Dinner Jeremy told me that chicken parmesan is one of your favorites and I happen to be a good cook the Italian roots demand it I can even make my own homemade mozzarella only tonight it is uh unfortunately store bought sorry" Stefan said.
"And I'll be upstairs so you two can be alone" Layla said. "Maybe with Jeremy" Layla said.

Layla knocked on Jeremy's door which was wide open while he sat in his room playing video games. Jeremy took out his headphones and saw Layla and smiled.
"Layla hey come in" Jeremy said and Layla did and sat next to him.
"So, they, talking" Jeremy asked. "Yeah, I believe so or at least they were" Layla said. "And you didn't stay with them" Jeremy asked.
"And watch them make googily eyes no thank you" Layla said.
"So, I see you're playing video games" Layla asked. "Yeah, a little" Jeremy said. "Care if I join, I tend to be good at some" Layla said.
"Sure, Vicki left so it's just us" Jeremy said and handed Layla a controller. "Wait Vicki was here did you two" Layla asked.
"Have sex maybe" Jeremy said. "Eww, gross I regret asking" Layla said and Jeremy smiled at her as they started to play video games.

Layla went with Stefan to the sexy suds event, and they walked up to Elena. "Hi" Stefan said. "Hey" Elena said and stood up.
"Uh the event is called sexy studs you know at least Layla listened" Caroline said seeing Layla in a bathing suit before leaving. "Did we just get scolded" Stefan asked.
"And judged yeah" Elena said. "Wow" Stefan said.
"Hmm she's awful judgey kinda makes me want to hit her or worse" Layla said and Elena looked at her. "Layla" Elena said. "Would you rather I lie" Layla asked as Elena smiled shaking her head.
"I'm sorry but I guess you're gonna have to take that off" Elena said to Stefan. "I think you have to go first" Stefan said to Elena.
"Okay barf I'll leave you two be, so I don't throw up" Layla said and left.

Stefan and Elena were helping Layla wash a car when Elena noticed Stefan and Layla's ring.
"You're getting soap in that" Elena said. "Oh, it's fine" Stefan said. "No biggie" Layla said. "I noticed that Damon had one too" Elena said. "Is there a story behind it" Elena asked.
"Yeah, it's the uh it's the family crest it's from the Italian Renaissance" Stefan said. "Hmm" Elena said making her way to Stefan and Layla looking at Stefan and Layla's ring.
"What's the stone" Elena asked. "It's called lapis lazuli" Layla said. "Oh" Elena said.
"You two should really take it off I can put it in my bag" Elena said. "No, it's fine really thanks, though" Stefan said. "Kinda am attached to it" Layla said.
"Okay I'm gonna get some towels" Elena said. "Okay" Stefan said, and Elena left.

Bonnie started a fire in the parking lot not meaning to as she was in some kind of trance and Layla and Stefan saw.
Stefan and Layla went to Bonnie to hopefully snap her out of her trance.
"Bonnie, Bonnie" Stefan said. "Bonnie" Layla said grabbing her hand. Bonnie snapped out of her trance and Layla pulled her hand away. Bonnie faced both Stefan and Layla.
"Hey" Stefan said. "What just happened" Bonnie asked. "You were in some kind of a trance" Stefan said. "Are you okay" Layla asked.
"Did I do this" Bonnie asked. "I think so yeah" Stefan said.
"Nobody else saw did they" Bonnie asked and Layla and Stefan shook their heads. "Don't tell anybody please" Bonnie said and left.
Stefan and a Layla looked at each other with a knowing look.
