After figuring out Elena knew about Stefan being a vampire Stefan and Layla went to Elena's house and went to her room going unnoticed.
"Elena" Stefan said, and Elena turned around seeing him. "You really think we should be here she literally just found out" Layla said. Elena went to open the door when Stefan stopped her.
"I would never hurt you you're safe with me" Stefan said.
"All those animal attacks those people who died" Elena asked turning around. "No that was actually our older brother Damon" Layla said.
"Damon" Elena asked. "Yes, I don't drink human blood that's not how I choose to survive" Stefan said. "Your loss" Layla said as Elena looked at her scared.
"Relax I didn't kill anyone" Layla said and Elena nodded. "Recently" Layla mumbled.
"But Damon does I'll explain everything to you, but I beg you Elena do not tell anybody" Stefan said.
"How can you ask me that" Elena asked. "Because you knowing this is dangerous for so many reasons you can hate me, but I need you to trust me" Stefan said.
"Just go, just go please go if you mean me no harm then you'll go" Elena told Stefan.
"I never wanted this" Stefan said and left with his vampire speed. "Told him this was a bad idea" Layla said and left using her vampire speed.

Elena was with Stefan after she asked for him to meet her. "Where's Layla" Elena asked.
"She thought it be better if it was just the two of us" Stefan said and Elena nodded. "She's out walking around she went to get ice cream I gave her money so" Stefan said.
"You said you would explain everything that's why I asked you to meet me here when you google vampire you get a world of fiction" Elena said. "What's the reality" Elena asked.
"I can tell you whatever you wanna know" Stefan said. "I know you eat garlic" Elena said.
"Yes" Stefan said. "And somehow sunlight's not an issue" Elena said and the waitress gave them their drinks before leaving.
"We have rings that protect us" Stefan said. "Crucifixes" Elena asked. "Decorative" Stefan said. "Holy water" Elena asked. "Drinkable" Stefan said.
"Mirrors" Elena asked. "Myth" Stefan said. "You said you don't kill to survive" Elena said.
"Animal blood keeps me alive but not as strong as Damon or even Layla they can be very powerful" Stefan said. "And yet you let Damon get involved with Caroline" Elena asked.
"Forcing Damon not to do something is much more dangerous believe me" Stefan said. "He was hurting her" Elena said.
"He was feeding on her he was able to take away her memories of being bitten using a form of mind compulsion she never knew what was happening to her if he wanted to kill her, he would have" Stefan said.
"Is that supposed to make it okay" Elena asked. "No, no none of this is okay Elena I know that" Stefan said and for a moment Elena stayed silent.
"Are there any others aside from you, Layla and Damon" Elena asked. "Not in Mystic Falls not anymore" Stefan said. "Not anymore" Elena asked.
"There was a time when this town was very much aware of vampires, and it didn't end well for anybody that's why it's important that you don't tell anyone" Stefan said.
"I can't promise that" Elena said. "Elena give me today I will answer any questions that you have and when it's over you can decide for yourself what you wanna do with what you know it'll be your choice" Stefan said and Elena nodded.
