Rocky POV
Today was the day I've been dreading for a few weeks. The big interview now I've had a lot of interviews in my acting career but this one was different, it would be the first interview after me and Grace broke up and I know somebody will ask about it and it's stressing me out. What would I say. I'm guessing everybody noticed that I've been in my room for a long time because someone was knocking on my door.
"What do you want"I say hoping they'd leave me alone.
"It's Chase you've been in your room for a long time Rocky you all right"I heard from the other side of the door.
"You can come in you know"I said, after I said that the door opened revealing Chase.
"Hey, you doing all right"Chase asked me with concern in his voice.
"I'm fine it's just I'm nervous about the interview"I said telling the truth.
"Rocky you've been an actor for years this is basically the same as any other interview you've ever done"Chase said reassuring me. I appreciate him doing that but it's really not the same as the other interviews.
"But it's not Chase, this is the first interview I'm doing after me and Grace broke up and I know they're going to ask about it. I just don't know how I'm going to respond"I said looking Chase with fear evident in my eyes.
"Think about it this way maybe you don't have to tell them the whole truth, like you told us but maybe you can give them some Minor details that don't have anything to do with the real reason"Chase said coming up with an idea.
"Yeah just like I did with you guys before I told you the truth"I said starting to like the idea.
"Exactly like that well you better get ready your interviews in less than an hour"Chase said standing up.
"Thanks Dad"I said jokingly. One thing I like about the Outer Banks cast is their willing to joke like we're all a big family.
"Everything all right"Rudy said coming into my room. One thing I also noticed about Rudy is he's willing to not give up when it comes to my feelings, when I tell him to leave me alone he won't, and he never will give up until I give him some closure about what's going on.
"Yeah I was just a little nervous about the interview today but Chase gave me a little pep talk"I said answering his question.
"Just him being the dad he is"Rudy said adding on to the joke.
"I'm surprised he's not an actual dad he would be a very good father"I said yelling across the apartment.
"Yeah yeah Rocky we get it get ready for your interview"Chase said yelling from the kitchen.
Me and Rudy laughed at Chase's reaction but soon Rudy left my room so I could get ready. I put up a white dress shirt with black dress pants, I also put on a gold chain and sprayed some cologne on myself.
As soon as I left my room Rudy's jaw dropped looking at my outfit for the day.
"Do you like the fit I chose to wear today"I asked the boy who was still staring at me in amusement.
"Rocky you look absolutely handsome you got to give me some tips on my fashion sense"he said in a very high-pitched tone.
"God you're so annoying get off me Rudy"I say joking back.
"We wouldn't want to wrinkle the shirt would we"Rudy said in a very deep voice.
"No we wouldn't Batman"I say pushing him off my shirt.
"Okay weirdos Rocky's got an interview to head off to so Rudy if you could please get off him that'd be great"Madison said pulling Rudy off of me.
"All right I'll be back in a few hours when the interview is done"I said grabbing my car keys heading out the door.
I started the drive to the interview it was only 30 minutes away from the apartment I was staying at. Looks like I'd be a few minutes early if traffic isn't going to be heavy.
After a few minutes I finally got to the facility where my interview was going to take place. I turned off my car locked it and walked inside.
"Oh hey you must be Rocky Sanchez I'll be your interviewer today"he said introducing himself to me.
"Thanks do you know what type of interview this is going to be"I said asking him I wanted to be prepared for what questions I was going to get.
"This is just a q&A I ask you questions and you answer"he said, he started to walk around and set up the lights and the camera. I decided to have a seat in the chair with my name on it.
"We'll be getting started in three two one"the interviewer counted down before starting the cameras.
"Hello everyone today I'm joined by Outer Banks star Rocky Sanchez"the interviewer said starting the video.
"Hello I'm so glad to be here with you guys today"I said in a happy tone.
"So Rocky I just have a few questions for you for our interview today"he said telling me about what was going to happen for the video.
"All right hit me with it"I said really excited.
"What's the most fun about being on set"the interviewer asked the first question.
"Oh man being on set is amazing you get to just hang out with all your castmates while having fun I'd say the most fun is getting to mess around in between takes that's the best part"I said explaining my answer.
"How many movies and TV shows have you been in not counting Outer Banks"the interviewer asked next.
"For movies I want to say I've been in five movies and I've also been in three TV shows not counting Outer Banks"I say replying confidently.
"What was your most underrated role that you've ever had" the interviewer asked.
"Oh so when I was 15 I had this role in this Marvel movie and I thought I did good but it went completely unnoticed by the media"I said recalling that moment.
"So recently there's been this tiktoker named Devin Canley, and people are saying that he stole your ex girlfriend"the interviewer said.
I had been completely dreading this question not only was it possibly true but Grace would have been okay with it.
"I don't think he did, I mean me and Grace broke up on good terms we'd been talking about the breakup for a while we just wanted to know when we would bring it up to the media"I said lying through my teeth.
"All right you heard it from Rocky himself there is no beef between him and tick tocker Devin Canley"the interviewer said turning off the cameras.
"Thanks for your time Rocky"the interviewer thanked me.
"Yeah no problem at all"I said shaking his hand. I was absolutely mad that Devin tried to start stuff with me, I just don't want to beef with him. But there is a possibility that the media is correct that maybe he did steal Grace away from me, but it didn't matter anymore we were no longer together.
