Chapter 6

Rudy POV

Today was just another ordinary work day, the cast wakes up and meets for coffee and then kind of just hangs around until it's time to film.

Today was different though when we were going to get coffee this one girl recognized who I was and immediately bombarded me for pictures. One thing people may not know about me is I hate all the pictures and paparazzi it gets me anxious.

"Oh my God Rudy Pankow look over here, can I please get a photo"the little girl asked me.

It was weird because she was only asking me not anybody else that I was with.

"I'm sorry but I'm just here to get my coffee before I start filming is it okay if you could leave me alone in the nicest way possible though"I said trying to be polite.

"But please it's my brother's birthday and he's a fan of JJ"the little girl kept on persisting.

She just wouldn't give up and I was starting to get more anxious by the second. That was until Rocky and Jonathan dragged me somewhere else.

"Sorry but we're about to start filming"Jonathan says.

"Hey Ruds are you okay"Rocky said checking on me.

"Yeah I'm okay I just get anxious out in public, and I know it's stupid but sometimes I can't handle it"I said very nervous that's the first time I've told somebody that.

"It's not stupid I used to be that way too and I still am my tip is to just breathe and relax it helps with a lot of things"Rocky said, that actually calmed me down that's what I like about him he's always willing to be there for me and I want to be there for him in a more than friends way but I don't know if he feels that way for me so I just keep my feelings private.

After a few hours all of us were hanging out in our apartment I was reading a book on a bean bag and Rocky and Jonathan were playing video games on the couch, Chase was out getting something to eat and Madison and Madelyn were out shopping.

Once everybody got back me and Drew had to film a scene.

After me and Drew filmed, I decided to flirt with Rocky there was no real reason why I just wanted to see what would happen.

"Hey handsome what you doing"I said if I'm not mistaken I can see a blush forming on his face maybe he did like me.

"I-I uhm nothing just writing song lyrics"he said stumbling over his words.

"Can I read some"I asked not really expecting him to say yes.

"Sure you can read these lyrics I wrote this song a long time ago"he said handing me a sheet of paper with song lyrics on them.

I started to skim over the lyrics that was until I read a part I don't think I was supposed to read it read

"Oh those lyrics, I wrote those for someone special"Rocky said looking at the paper over my shoulder.

"I'm sorry if I wasn't supposed to read them"I said quickly apologizing handing him the paper back.

"No it's okay it's about time I finally showed somebody"Rocky said putting the paper away.

"You should sing us all the song"I said giving him a suggestion.

"No that won't be necessary I never sing my songs to anybody"Rocky said defending himself.

"Well today could change that only if you want to though"I said.

"Okay fine I just need to grab my guitar get everybody rounded up in the living room"he said starting to dig through his closet.

I started going to everybody's room and telling them to sit in the living room so Rocky could show us something.

After a while Rocky came out of his room and sitting down on the bean bag.

"So why did Rudy call us out here what do you want to show us"Chase said concerned.

"Chase I already know your internally freaking out I'm fine I just wanted to let you hear some songs I wrote over the past few years"Rocky said reassuring Chase that everything's okay.

That's when he started to sing the first song

As he was singing I was absolutely mesmerized how could he have such a good voice and keep it to himself. I think I just fell even more in love with them than I was before.

"Dude that was absolutely amazing"Jonathan said cheering his friend on.

"How old were you when you wrote this song"Madison said couldn't believing her ears.

"Well I wrote the song when I was 17 over a friend of mine who died, this was my way of coping, but the first time I ever performed this song was in front of you guys just now"Rocky said.

"If you don't mind me asking can you sing the song that I saw earlier"I asked.

"I mean sure"Rocky said getting up and going back to his room.

He came back out shortly after. He started doing vocal exercises to rewarm his voice up.

Everyone was in complete silence after that song, not that we didn't like it we were surprised he could sing this good and never told us, not like it was any of our business. A part of me wishes that song was about me, maybe it is I would never know.

One by one we all joined in to start a round of applause.

"I am still very astounded by your singing ability"Madison says patting Rocky on the back.

"Yeah I don't really sing in front of many people"Rocky replies going to put his guitar away.

"Wait one more please"Chase said sounding like a child.

"Okay fine one more but that's all you guys get"Rocky says sitting back down.

"Wait when did you write that song"I asked maybe it was made this year.

"I made it when I was 19"Rocky said debunking my theory.

Little did I know this next song was made for me.

"When did you make that song"Madison asked.

"Last year"I said before Rocky could answer.

"How would you know we haven't even met him last year"Jonathan said questioning me.

"Because that was about me and his ex"I said I was contacting him online during the filming of season 1 and I kind of ghosted him when he needed me and I felt terrible but we talked about it and we're all good now"I said explaining the story.

Rocky just left to go put his guitar away since I explained the story.

"Rudy Pankow being a bitch I could have never imagined"Madison said joking around.
